This place is great! There was no problem finding a table and the wait was no more than 3 minutes despite the place being busy. The veggie quiche was served wrapped within minutes (I hadn't turned my laptop on yet) and it was delicious. But the staff - oh the staff! So kind! Pleasant surprise - this was the best iced mocha (almond milk) that I have ever had! I am just delighted!
Great coffee shop. The coffee is good, not burnt at all. Tastes great.
The bagels only come with plain cream cheese which kinda blows, but everything else here is amazing.
This place is seriously a hidden jewel. The customer service is incredible and the food is fresh and delicious. I love their seasonal menu drinks, they're always so fun! Never had anything but a great experience here.
I got the Spiced Cafe Au Lait. It was so good! And my husband got the Americano. My daughter got the kids hot chocolate and she was done with it in no time! Loved the aesthetics and music on too. Service was great!
Slippery Rock really needed the local coffee shop atmosphere that Rooster’s provides. The espresso tastes like none other and they have a great variety of teas, sodas, and signature drinks. Their baked goods are made in house and are fresh every time. Highly recommend the maple shaken espresso for a nice fall drink, and a blueberry or raspberry muffin any day of the week.
The owner, manager, and workers are all super kind and will get to know you over time. They’ve supported local music groups from SRU and hope to have more community opportunities in the future.
Still waiting for that sponsorship!! Haha
I can't really express my gratitude for this place. If you want a espresso shots to remember, this has amazing ones. The folks are friendly and eager to give you the best. The atmosphere is comfortable and unique.
A great atmosphere to come for studying/work. Came here 2 days in a row while we were in town to meet with people and get work done. Their drinks are good too, lots of options for coffee/tea/soda and others, as well as pastries and lunch options too. Highly recommend, and there's plenty of room unlike most coffee shops
I stumbled upon this charming coffee shop during my morning stroll, and I am absolutely thrilled that I did! This place has quickly become my go-to spot for a warm and welcoming coffee experience.
From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the friendly smiles of the staff. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax, catch up on work, or simply enjoy a quiet moment with a great cup of coffee.
Their coffee selection is impressive, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences. Whether you're a fan of rich, bold espresso drinks or prefer something lighter and sweeter, they have something for everyone. I personally adore their cappuccinos – perfectly balanced and oh-so-smooth.
One thing that sets this coffee shop apart is their commitment to quality. It's evident that they take great care in sourcing their beans and crafting each cup with precision. And don't even get me started on their delectable pastries! The pastries are freshly baked, and they pair wonderfully with their coffee offerings.
The staff here is a true gem. They are knowledgeable about their offerings and are more than happy to recommend something based on your preferences. It's clear that they are passionate about what they do, and their enthusiasm adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience.
The cozy seating, soft lighting, and soothing background music create an ambiance that's perfect for both solo visits and catching up with friends. Plus, they have reliable Wi-Fi, making it a great spot to work remotely if needed.
In a world filled with coffee chains, this locally-owned coffee shop stands out as a hidden treasure. If you're a coffee lover like me, you owe it to yourself to pay them a visit. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
All in all, I can't recommend this coffee shop enough. It has all the elements that make for a memorable coffee outing – top-notch coffee, inviting atmosphere, and exceptional service. I'm grateful to have discovered this gem, and it has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite coffee spots in town.
Highly recommended!
Great coffee and baked pastries, with reasonable prices.
Lots of space inside and a few tables outside.
They've only been open for a week or two, so I'm hoping they'll expand their food options. They bake their own pastries fresh, so it would be great to have more selection.
The only thing I would have changed would be to have my latte served in a mug rather than a paper cup, although I saw that they'll give you one if you ask.
Definitely the best coffee shop around!
The atmosphere of this coffee shop is so unique - there’s so much attention to detail put into everything. The drinks are excellent - I’ve had the iced lavender latte, the espresso affogato and the butterbeer float. The staff is so friendly and helpful explaining any questions I have about the menu. The baked goods are also delicious! Dreaming about the oatmeal raisin cookie as I type this review. If you’re looking for great coffee, check out this coffee bar - you will not be disappointed!
If you are are a coffee enthusiast who not only appreciates a good cup of Joe but also a unique atmosphere, this place is definitely worth a stop. I have a feeling you will be back for more. Rooster’s also has exceptional baked goods that change on the daily, and super friendly and helpful staff. It has become my new favorite spot.
I had a wonderful hot dirty chia latte and my husband had a delicious iced toffee latte, nice relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a drink on a Sunday morning , lots of interesting wall art
I've been here a few times now when I was in town. I love the elderflower green tea and the pastries. It was a nice place to grab a seat and a snack when I needed some place to work for a couple hours.
Excellent frozen coffee and delicious Rooster cookie! I had 2 meetings though, and the music was a little bit too loud.
Very cute coffee joint. Was pleasantly surprised to find it. They had a delicious variety of freshly made treats and impressive coffee drinks to sip and savor.
This place has great coffee and good food. I’m kind a coffee douche, so take my word for their coffee being good. Not burnt or watered down, just good taste and body.
The bagels were the only thing that left me with breakfast blue balls. The only cream cheese option is plain cream cheese? Brah. Help a brother out, gimme some home made cream cheeses like that dope sauce coffee shop up in Oil City, Woods and River Coffee
Cute coffee shop. They had great chocolate chip cookies. Staff was nice and helped me choose a beverage that suited what I like. Will definitely be a repeat customer.
Great experience, cozy, liked the reduced lighting, especially in am . Salted Caramel latte for am Java was great and chocolate chip muffins.
My husband really likes the coffee! I had a mocha frappe made with almond milk, which was really good as well. The whole atmosphere was inviting, nostalgic and clean. We will definitely return!
