Back in the 2000s the rage were those restaurants where you had these wooden placeholders with green on one side and red on the other. They would bring you meat until they closed or you gave up and told them to stop. The price was reasonable, and if you had the fortitude, the experience was one of a kind. Now that I am older I am very particular about what I put in my body and the types of cuts that are worth putting in. So when we found out about Luso which has an all you can eat (meat) option, I was ready to give it a try again. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is helpful and patient. The food was great and memorable, I would like to go here again if it wasn't that far out in Long Island. They also have other entrees that I would like to try in the future. Definitely worth going to for the price.
Having returned from Portugal earlier this year I can wholeheartedly confirm Luso is the real deal. Phenomenal flavor, authenticity, and attentiveness. Will return no doubt, what a treat!
Big portions, family style sides. Everything was delicious, from the bread and salad to start, to the beautifully cooked entrees. We ordered the Porterhouse and Spare Ribs. Steak was huge, and ribs were plentiful. Both tasted great. We’ll be back

My first time here, and I’d definitely be returning here lol omg we had so much food and it was all very delicious! Me and the wife and kids and in laws went to today for dinner. Reservations were done same day and when we walked in exactly at the time we reserved; we were seated right away big plus being with kids. Very spacious location and very clean restaurant. I love the layout and awesome customer service provided from the waiter to bus boy to the owner herself. I love when people pay attention to detail and are always checking up on the table regardless of how busy the restaurant is. Our waters were always full and our food was delivered in a timely fashion. We order a porter house steak, whole chicken, grilled shrimp and made our own family style dinner for everybody to enjoy. As an appetizer we got sausage, salad and some bread. For dessert we ordered a flan, crème brûlée, Chocolate mousse and Tiramisu. Highly recommend as a family dinner time or lunch regardless you’ll be very happy.
Love places like this. The rodizo option is not for the feint of heart so pac yourself accordingly if you decide to take on the challenge of an all you can eat meat feast. The service and atmosphere are very welcoming and I couldn’t ask for a better spot to celebrate my bday in. Would be happy to bring my business back here.
Pleasant atmosphere. Plentiful foods. Tried all you can eat meats and in my opinion they were all too hard. Octopus on the other hand was very nice and tender. The octopus was huge.

The only negative I have is the table cleaner was WAY too aggressive in wanting to clean the table. I wasn't done and he was trying to take my plate while I was talking with my party
Always delicious! Never had a bad meal here. We always add on a side of beans and vinaigrette, plus they have the best fries anywhere!

Wednesday night. Busy but not packed. Menu has become a bit smaller than pre covid. All of what they serve is delicious. I also enjoy the family style servings of salads, rice, veggies,etc.
Excellent food. Full of favor. We had people wanting food cooked from medium rare to well done. They took the time to bring the meats to our preference. Only downside was slow service, other than bring out the meats.
BEST RESTAURANT ON LONG ISLAND. I WOULD EAT HERE EVERYDAY IF I COULD.
