Don’t miss out on this place!! I really respect small restaurants that keep their menu small and focus on quality. Just the right amount of smoke and spice. The owner is fun and entertaining! The coleslaw is awesome!
We loved the local beer on tap, friendly and knowledgeable staff, the food was awesome- cleaned our plates. I thought the homemade potato salad was the best as a side! Eating alongside local farmers was a kick to listen to while we ate 😄
If you are into DDD like I am it's a must do. The owner is great. Smoker out of Ennis, TX and education from Taylor, TX. This gentleman knows his BBQ. Slaw with a horse radish edge and great tri tip sandwich. Onion rings done to perfection.
We just stumbled upon this establishment our first night in Sonoma. The food was good, we had the smoked ribs and they were fall off the bone great! The staff was very friendly and service was awesome. Definitely a spot I would visit the next time we are in Sonoma.

We stopped by happenstance... so thankful we did! What a wonderful place for lunch. Good service, friendly and reasonable. We sat outside. I had the grilled cheese with tomatoes and pesto... outstanding! Hubby had the pulled pork grilled cheese... also outstanding! The slaw was homemade and amazing! Highly recommended from these two Hoosiers!
Amazing food and the owner was very friendly. I ordered the bbq pulled pork grilled cheese and it was so tender, juicy, and delicious I wish I had another in front of me right now. He is located near all the good wineries so it is a perfect place to go before or after tasting wines. The next time we come back we will definitely be eating at Schellville!
The fries were really great and all of our entrees were flavorful and well prepared. Dining area is a bit shabby-chic for my taste, but comfortable and clean. Staff was a bit scattered but adequate service.
I got the BBQ Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese. This was very different from other pulled porks I had so it wasn't what I expected, but it was still great. Here's some highlights:
Amazing smokey flavor. Never got that in a sandwich before.
Cheese and onions add some subtle flavors that are missing from other all-meat sandwiches.
The bread held it all together perfectly. I got some extra pork dripping out, but it didn't get all over the place like some.
PS. The fries are some the best, excellent crispiness. Just add salt!
Just stopped in today for lunch just prior to closing. Tried the pulled pork sandwich and Cole slaw. My wife and I both enjoyed it all.
The Pork was excellent blended with sauteed onions, sauce and queso on sourdough. Great combination! The cole slaw had a little heat from horseradish. Great spot. You will not be disappointed.
Some of the best pulled pork I've had outside of the south. $16 is and always will be too much for a pulled pork sandwich but in terms of flavor this is about as good as it gets. Pro tip is to just order the pulled pork on its own. Take it home and enjoy the amazing flavors for days
Really cute roadside grill I heard about on Diners, Drive ins and Dives. Stopped in for lunch and had a tasty patty melt and the fries were delicious. Great relaxed atmosphere I'll be back the next time I'm in the area for sure.
Love this place! Great food for after the 5k Tough Mudder.. The food was Amazing!
Great Food, love the atmosphere outside. We tried this place out after seeing it on Drive-Ins Diners and Dives and were blown away with the meals. We had the brisket sandwich, the buckaroo, gargonzola chicken salad and the steak tip sandwich... all were amazing!! The outside patio was perfect and the day we were there there was a live band that made our dining experience one of a kind. The service was moderately lacking, but as we weren't in a hurry, the food and atmosphere made up for that. I would definitely recommend this place!
