Endearing atmosphere and delicious sandwiches and baked goods! Stopped here on a weekend trip to South Haven and Holland after a friend recommended it. So glad I did! My scone was massive and absolutely delicious. The Lady Bird Chicken Salad Sandwich was very tasty as well. Excited to come back tomorrow and try something different.
Delicious sandwiches, cookies and truffles. The chocolate cherry cookie was almost a little like cake in texture with generous chunks of cherry and chocolate. The dark chocolate truffles were rich and melted in my mouth. The sandwiches had generous portions of meat and cheese with a side of slaw loaded with dried cranberries and raisins. The atmosphere was open, airy and laid back. The restaurant was super clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and service was super quick. Can’t find one downside to this place.
Nice place. Speedy friendly service. I tried their Jack O Lantern latte (seasonal) and it was pretty good compared to most other “mom and pop” coffee places. My wife raved about their Chai Tea Latte. Loved their themed cups with the ghosts for Halloween.
This is my first time here. Really enjoyed the experience ❤️ Healthy choices of food, nice coffee ☕, fresh cut flowers, cozy seating inside and outside👍
Cozy spot. Bacon, egg n cheese bagel was better than probably 95% of bagels you can get in NYC.. and I say this as a native NY’er of 30+ years. Gluten free options available and has some covered outdoor seating that our dog was welcome on. Wife’s pistachio milk latte was very tasty.
Don't pass this buy for something closer to the water!!!
The atmosphere inside is roomy and spacious with quick, courteous service, and very possibly the best BLT I've ever had😎😎😎😎😎
Great local cafe with good coffee! The baked items looked amazing and the breakfast burrito was super tasty.
We had our casual wedding brunch at Cafe Julia and it was a wonderful experience. Trisha was kind and a great communicator leading up to the day. Our patio plans got rained out, but Trisha was on top of it and had us set up inside without losing a beat. There was plenty of space and the team took great care of us. Our guests all raved about the food. We love Cafe Julia!
Some of the best gluten free treats I've ever had, the gluten free carrot cake mini loaf and gluten free double chocolate cupcake were incredible!!! Plus the gluten free avocado toast was delicious, and the latte was wonderful. Great wifi while I worked remote too. It will definitely be my first stop back when I am back in South Haven!!
Love the vegan options, Bohemian wrap and green smoothie
Incredibly delicious breakfast sandwich and fiesta wrap! Ordered a London Fog, butter cream latte, nitro cold brew coffee and double espresso! Such a fun and homey atmosphere.
Great breakfast sandwiches and great coffee for reasonable prices! I loved the Fiesta Wrap so much that I had it for breakfast 3 of our five day stay! The scones are perfect!
It's always a great place to get a good sandwich and my mocha! Good food and coffee and everyone is always very nice. It's a great place!
Found this place on a local recommendation. It was behind the farmer's market off the main thoroughfare. Nice breezy location, we ate on the covered front porch area. They also have a large outdoor seating area in back facing the farmer's market. The sandwiches seemed a bit on the expensive side initially, but were worth the price in flavor. We left filled and satisfied. The customer service experience was good, all the staff were pleasant and cheery. I have bookmarked this Cafe for future visits.
The atmosphere is casual. Being a beach area, they aren't fancy. Besides, it's counter service, so come in casual and nobody cares.
I had the Greek tuna fish sandwich on multigrain. It tasted similar to what I would make at home. Also had the slaw, it was fine.
Wife had the Italian chicken, but she didn't think she'd order it again. It was the baguette that was too hard.
Also had the mango smoothie, which is more liquid than I was expecting. More like an actual smoothie. Also tasted fine.
Food came quick after ordering.
On Labor Day, all the other restaurants in town were closed for breakfast. Cafe Julia's was the only one open, and they were extremely busy. The service was still exceptional and the food always delicious.
Super cute sandwich and breakfast restaurant. The food was great and they had a nice dog friendly patio out back
And it seemed like everyone enjoyed sitting out there as it was really busy.
