If it's atmosphere you are looking for, go spend your money at one of the trendy places on the tourist strip! If you simply want great food at a nice, clean place with incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff, go to Six Chicks Scratch Kitchen! Fair prices with great portions and obviously amazing recipes... I am glad I asked the "locals" where the best breakfast joint in town was! Our waitress, DeeDee was so very nice, and our food came quickly... do go here... you will thank me later! ππββββ
Delish!! I had the berry cinnamon roll. Honestly the cinnamon roll would have been excellent without any icing. Yes, it really is that good. π
The waiter was handling various tables and I could tell some were frequent customers. He was quick to get the orders and the food came out in a timely manner. Service was super!!

This place has become a staple for our family! Delicious food, great service, and fun atmosphere! We ordered a cinnamon roll this time and finished it so quickly we didn't even get a picture! π It was beyond delicious and as big as was described! Don't miss this great place! βΊ
Six Chicks Scratch Kitchen is delicious!!! The service was phenomenal, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was wonderful! My family and I had the corn beef hash and the sausage gravy with biscuits; we also had their famous huge cinnamon rolls! All in all, great place to eat!
Husband and I stopped in for breakfast. We were seated right away, food came quickly, and service was friendly. Food was delicious! Loved the farmer's hash, the shredded brussel sprouts added a touch of flavor to a perfectly made dish. Added a belgian waffle on the side that was really good. Husband had chicken fried steak and pancakes. Definately a new favorite place for breakfast.
A great option for anyone looking for breakfast food around South Haven. They serve breakfast all day and have all of the staples including pancakes, french toast and many styles of omelets. I got the very interesting farmers hash and really enjoyed it. My kids also liked their french toast. The only drawback for us was the very slow service. While we were seated right away, it took 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge that we were there. It took even longer to get our food. Maybe not an issue for some, but a definite drawback if you have young, impatient kids like us.
Everything was good but they need to do something with their biscuits and gravy. They were boring like hotel breakfast biscuits and gravy. The cinnamon roll was great, the farmers hash was great and the service was excellent.
We had the Cass County omelet, Six Chick's casserole, potato soup, and cinnamon roll. Everything was delicious! We can't wait to go back!
You might want to stop in for breakfast because it was about the only restaurant opened at 7am in town. People were pouring in, the breakfast was great. Our waitress sure had her handful and she handled it!!!
Fresh flavor and local flair! Everyone was so friendly, the service was great and get a bacon chicken wrap! So good π ..haven't had the breakfast yet but that's next.
Delicious food, made with love. Story Time: One day, I came in for some comfort food, because I wasn't feeling well. Since I'm a regular, Donna noticed I was NOT looking good. The ladies were worried and drove me to the emergency room, where I learned my potassium was dangerously low. I could have died! Six Chicks literally saved my life. THANK YOU, Donna, DeeDee, Linda, Mandy and the rest of the staff for taking such good care of your guests. ALL THE STARS for this establishment.

Loved the experience and the food. The food portions are on the larger size so come on it with a empty belly. You definitely have to grab a coffee and a cinnamon roll while you wait!
Went here recently. LONG wait time for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Interior looks a little old and tired. Our waitress was attentive and accurate. Food was actually quite good. Prices were in line with similar restaurants.
The food is delicious and the menu variety mouth-watering. The biggest request is more attentive servers- it seems that in every season, servers have too many tables to provide a 5 star experience.
If you have ample time and patience, youβll love your meal.
Our first time eating here and we were glad we went. The place is spacious and pleasant inside with a friendly staff. Their menu has a nice variety of choices and everything our table ordered was very good. Itβs nice to have another breakfast place in town. By 9:30 am when we left there was a line out the door; 8:30 am no trouble getting a table. We will be back!
