Idk if its an urban legend but from what i understand, the sandwhich place down the street used to be owned by this guy, but he sold it when he moved away. Then he came back years later and opened up this place, Teani's. I've been to both places, this place has less people in line for pretty much the same thing. Although, i will say, the other place has more choices. But we strictly come here now. We love it.

Cool old time memorabilia and Italian food staples for homecooking in addition to their sammiches.

Great find! Fast & friendly service. Classic Italian Deli Sub Sandwiches. So large you can eat one half for lunch and the other half for dinner! Pick up here and take a short drive to beautiful Orange Memorial Park nearby and enjoy your lunch.

The sandwich I ordered was so yummy and huge , I shared it with my friend. It is the best little sandwich shop ever. So much history in this place.

Good portions for sure. Ordered half half corn beef and pastrami, there was so much meat I couldn't really taste the sauce. Sister ordered Venice sandwich which was really good.

Not sure why people don't go here when Little Luccas is crowded. The service is a little slow but that's because these sandwiches are time consuming to make. Absolutely delicious Italian deli meats, and interesting knick-knacks. My eyes are always drawn to the picture of FDR, but there's alot to look at.

This is a funky time machine that takes you back to a different era. The decore is a mess of SF history, US Presidents, military tributes and of course Italy. The sandwich was excellent but don’t expect to get the quickest service. It’s pretty laid back but worth the wait. One note, the sweet roll is a bit hard and i would recommend. Maybe it was an older batch.
