This was a delightful date night out. My partner treated us to a full course meal, and Chef Warren did not disappoint. Their cocktails were honed and solid, and their appetizers were unique. We had kangaroo meatballs in red wine sauce, and they were delicious. We got two entrees and shared them. The trout was phenomenal and the sauces and gravies were so complimentary to the dishes. Dessert and coffee were divine. A personal carafe of locally roasted beans pared perfectly with my chocolate mousse. Everything was so good and whole unique.
This place is the best in the pines, forget everything else. Outrageously talented wait staff and kitchen. The food is easily the best in NC. Don't waste your time. Come here and enjoy.

WOW. My fiancé had just proposed and we went to dinner here afterwards. I can’t thank Warren and his staff enough for making such a special day the absolute best! Not only was the hostess, our waitress, and even Warren himself genuinely kind (which is unique to find today), but the atmosphere was wonderful and the food was absolutely phenomenal.
