Yummy & delicious!! After working a wedding party on Bald Head, we decided to stop by the Blue Cow Grill in Southport. It’s a small place with a cute atmosphere. My friend & ordered the cheese curds to share. Then we both got the Blue Cow Burger with a side of pork rinds. The pork rinds were still crackling when they were brought to the table. It was freaking delicious!! I’m gonna have to go back. The cook made the place popping. She was jamming out & singing, which I enjoyed. She was having a great time while getting the job done. You have to go check this place out.
We ended up eating here because the place we planned to eat at was too crowded but I am glad we did! I was seriously impressed by the food!! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. Its small but don’t let it’s size fool you! Out waitress was very nice. Fried mushrooms were outstanding, blackened shrimp tacos are great, my daughter got the BLT and onion rings, both delicious. My mom got the crab cake and it was amazing as well. We will 100% go back.
Got to say the place was awesome. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had fresh cooked to order pork rinds. Never had that before at a restaurant. Love pork rinds, food was phenomenal.
Had to check out this popular local spot. Luckily, we visited during the off-season, so no wait to have dinner. Very small place with only a few tables inside and a few outside, but the food and service were great!
I read good reviews on the burgers, so I tried the Blue Cow...yummy!! We also tried the crab cake sandwich and tacos, which were also delish.

Small restaurant they have only 7 tables and the sweetest hardest working ladies there. Faye was our waitress and she was amazing and although it was busy she kept checking up on our table.
My husband got the blue cow burger and it was seasoned delicious and so juicy. I got a grilled chicken sandwich with homemade chips that were crispy and perfect with their home made ranch. The fried green tomatoes are a must crispy and so tender.
EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection. I wish I lived closer and had more room in my stomach to eat more.
Can’t wait to go back soon.
Yum, excellent burgers and fries. Quick and friendly service, small town feel. The pimento cheese is amazing here.
Food was flavorful, service was kind & fast. It was me & my friends first time here & we are definitely keeping this one on the list. Sweet potato fries were delicious ! Bill was a little under $40..
The best burger I’ve had that I can remember. Perfect Sweet Potato Fries. Delicious Asian Slaw. Our cook is a movie star. She has great energy and smiling and singing. I would drive here my 45 minutes from home to come again for that burger, and say hello to their cook.

Overall good quick spot delivering continued fillers. I will promote the wings and the whole burgers section dogmatically. The brisket and prime sandwich both were lacking moisture and flavor. For the price at the beach and hours of operation vs other establishments you have to stop by and grab a burger with as many extra fixings as your foodie heart desires.
Food was very good. Service was very slow. Granted it was busy but the large group, 50 percent of the restaurant, already had already been served and still it took more than half an hour to get our food. We'll go back again because of the great food but we'll make sure it's not crowded.
