We ordered for the first time after a bit of a hiatus. Every item was delicious! We heard rumors that it had gone downhill after a change in management but our experience tonight proved those rumors wrong. Every dish tasted fresh and seasoned perfectly - what a treat! We are so happy to have such a great Chinese restaurant nearby. We look forward to ordering from Main Moon again soon!
The recently new owners are doing a wonderful job so far. I had stopped getting takeout from here but decided to give the place another try. What a great surprise. The chicken - General Taos, Szechuan Chicken & Shrimp - was very well prepared. Not over cooked in stale oil, like under the previous ownership. It was tender and flavorful. The steamed dumplings were also great, as well as the Szechuan Lo Mein. My daughter also had high praise for the Crab Rangoon; said that it tasted like they actually had crabmeat in it. Also the sticky rice is definitely sticky. We like it like that, although I know that it’s not to some people’s taste. It was all so good, we ordered it again the following weekend and were not disappointed. I hope it wasn’t an aberration. I’ll definitely be back soon.
I ordered Chicken Wings, Vegetable Fried Rice and a Happy Family dinner special on Sat. 6 pm. Everything was fantastic. The wings were crispy and tender and the Happy Family dinner was perfectly cooked and delicious.
The food is excellent and I haven't been disappointed. Very speedy service, with going from order to pickup of about 15 minutes maximum. Easily the best place in southwick for takeout. The restaurant seems to be designed for takeout, but they have made an effort to improve the inside of the restaurant for dine in, although I would still choose elsewhere for that.
Staff seems a bit short when speaking with them, but it may just be the language barrier.
Overall a great place for takeout!
I loved the lo mein. Very umami. The owners are so sweet. They made me feel at home even though I’m just visiting Congamond Lake for a few days. I’ll keep this place in mind next time I’m back.
Expectations always met.
I have been eating here since they opened, and have never been disappointed in my order. They offer fast service, decent food, at a manageable price.
My son loves their "crabby goons" (crab rangoon), and the dumplings are delicious.
