Overall had a pleasant experience here today. For an appetizer, we ordered the duck poutine which was very delicious. The sweet potato fries were fresh and hot, the gravy and duck and cheese was all proportioned right and we didn’t feel skimped out at all! For food I got the burger. It is quite heavy so if you want something filling, look no further! Since I hate pickles I opted to get the pickle aioli on the side and instead have ketchup and mayo on the burger. The burger was very delicious and cooked perfectly to medium well. The jazz fries which come with it were also cooked and came out hot as well as they had a super delicious mixture of Parmesan and seasoning! The other thing we got as the apple beet salad. The salad was good, but we did have to return it. I would highly recommend getting the bacon oil sauce on the side as it makes the salad super oily and heavy. It just overpowered the flavor of the salad. We had to return it because it was just bad with it. But the next apple beet salad we got with no dressing on it and we opted to get the house made Caesar and house made honey balsamic on the side. The Caesar was good, but for this salad the honey balsamic was best! It really enhanced the flavor and overall it was a delicious salad with the chicken we got with it cooked to perfection! The waitresses were super nice and knowledgeable. They also serve beer and wine but do not serve liquor. Their wine menu is pretty average for a bistro like this and their beer selection is perfect for the area we are in!

2023.04 I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in this area. We came here for lunch and had steak frites and octopus tostones, both were very tasty. Staff was friendly and service was quick.

Take out pan seared jump scallops. Really great. Smaller portions, which is healthy!

My husband and I came here for lunch for the first time. This place is fantastic, the service, unique menu and ambiance. There’s a cute little patio area and seating indoor. I had the crab cake sandwich and the tartar sauce was on point! Will be coming here again and wish we came sooner!

Our first time visiting and it won't be the last. Service was amazing and anyone can tell with the flavors the chef loves what he does. Something as simple as tartar sauce and the homemade bread amazed me. Every bite was delicious! Thank you!

The wedding reception held here was delighted by the delicious food served by our attentive waitress. Everything, from the soup and salad to our main courses, was exceptionally prepared and served. I highly recommend this restaurant!

A friend and I visited here while in Spencerport. Absolutely loved the place. Food was fantastic. We split skewered Korean barbecue chicken kabobs and vegetarian stuffed peppers. I had a white Bordeaux to drink, as well as a new California Red that they offered and both were great wines.

My family goes here for special occasions, and never once have we been disappointed. It’s a bit more pricey, but the food is always worth it, and we have never once gotten a meal we did not like. There’s usually multiple that we wish we could try, because everything sounds so good. All the staff are extremely kind and communicative. They are ALL such lovely people and always seem like they legitimately love working there. Menus are seasonal, but you will find something you like in every season. There is always some kind of mac and cheese, with a twist that changes seasonally. There is also always a filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes and another seasonal vegetable. There will always be something for everyone that you could bring. Inside, it is a bit small, especially with a lot of people. It never causes long wait times for food, but it can get a bit loud. The outdoor seating is very nice, if the loudness would disturb you, albeit only open in spring/summer/other warmer times. Most times we have gone there are not too many people, but we also go during early dinner hours.

Food was perfect. I got the french onion soup and the lobster mac, my partner got the filet mignon. The filet was perfectly cooked, it just melted in your mouth it was amazing. The french onion soup was the best Ive had in years, made just like how my mother made it for me as a child it was mouth watering. The lobster mac was also delicious. The service was wonderful, the waitresses were super sweet.

A fine dinning experience nestled into the small town of spencerport, a restaurant not to be missed: Bad Apple Bistro. Over the last few year, since opening, my brother always told me how great it is there and I never have gone. That was until we had a holiday celebration there. Now I regret not going sooner. The portion size for each menu item is appropriate and flavorful to the right amount. The unfortunate part about it is that the price is not reflective of amount of food you get. But when each bite has a purpose, it makes each bite that much better. It was odd to me where it was located for the quality of food, as this is not a place that I would expect this kind of meal at. The service was great, not amazing, but nothing to complain about but not so great it was to be pointed out as superb. Definitely try this place out if you havent given it try, you wont be disappointed. But, for a 3 course meal and a glass of wine, expect about $100 for 2 plus tax and tip

From the staff to the food, everything exceeded our expectations! The food was SPECTACULAR - my scallops with a chili sauce paired with a cucumber watermelon salad was an amazing choice on a summer evening!! Everything was delicious, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. A must-visit in the village of Spencerport...you’ll be glad you did!

Food was very good. A bit pricey for what is included with the meal, I. e., no salad and only a garnish but of vegetable.

This place was NOT what I was expecting. With the name and modernity of it all, I was expecting some of the branding to try compensating for the food. The food needed no compensating whatsoever. Everything was fantastic, and very reasonably priced. I went with a former coworker and two entrees with two desserts was under $50. I had the Chicken Milanese (served with roasted fingerling potatoes) and an affogato. Every part of the dish was seasoned well, nothing was over or under. And the affogato was definitely served with a double shot of espresso (the way it should be done, in my opinion at least lol). The staff was friendly, expedient and thorough. The chef even came to the table to check on us. It was small, there was ambient jazz music, and I never waited for anything. While the service was what you'd expect from a long sit down dinner service restaurant, we were there for an hour which included the meal, dessert and being very chatty before and after. I will definitely be back with friends.
