My boyfriend’s family lives nearby, and we frequently call in orders or eat in (when we can - COVID-19 has us house-bound for the most part). Lee’s has a great selection from burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches to salads, gyros, and more. Every meal I’ve had at Lee’s has been delicious and made right every time. The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. Since COVID hit, they’ve also been pretty good about enforcing mask policies and following them in my experience. Appreciate all this mom & pop joint does and highly recommend to all to check them out!

So, if you are a TRUE foodie, of the likes that appreciates ‘Diners, Drive-in’s and Dives’ on the Food Network- you have to come try this place out! If they haven’t been featured yet- it’s only a matter of time. If you don’t appreciate honest, hard working, and amazing food- keep scrolling. 😉

I went there today to try it for my first time. I was told by a lady inside that she’d be right with me so I sat down not knowing that I wouldn’t be acknowledged for the next 15 minutes. I sat there for a few and then walked to the counter. She said she’d be right with me and then continues to take an order on her pad. A lady then asked about a new item on the menu and she took the time to stop writing and then explain in detail all about the Mexican ice cream that was new to the menu and how delicious it was. I didn’t understand why I was treated this way, I am a respectful person. I almost felt like a second class citizen compared to the lady she spoke with about the ice cream. Needless to say, I’ll never be going back there again and I’ll also let every member of my family, extended family, friends, and clients all about this experience. Thank you Lee’s. Edit: based on the reply from the business, it’s obvious that my point was missed entirely. You say it’s an “order at counter restaurant” and I figured that out that day after sitting there for 15 minutes. It was also very obvious that day that I’m unfamiliar with your restaurant and it’s even more obvious that you chose to let me figure it out on my own. After, I tried to order at your counter and you pushed me off to talk to a customer in a much friendlier tone about the new item on the menu. My point is: your business model is like a “clique” and you’re quick to make an outsider feel just as that. After talking about my experience with many former patrons of your business, I’ve also discovered that I didn’t miss out on anything special. Greasy burgers, poor service, etc. Edit(2): Well I gave this place a second chance, although admittedly, it was a decision based more on convenience at the time. You see, I worked late that evening and was right down the road when I found myself in the typical weeknight conundrum: what to grab for dinner for myself and my children. I looked at Lee’s from the top of the hill as I was making my short drive home. I thought to myself, “Wait a sec, I’m all about second chances” and plus I was really hungry. I’m happy I went back because the FOOD IS DELICIOUS and this time the same lady behind the counter was noticeably more receptive of me as a customer. I really don’t know what happened during my first experience, as I carried myself exactly the same at the counter (minus the initial confusion of being at an “order at counter restaurant”). All I can say is the PAST IS BEHIND US for a reason and I’d rather talk pleasantly about a business than give a harsh truth. I think this place is WELL WORTH THE MONEY and what I’ve come to find attractive is the people behind the counter are as real as they come in that they strive and error like anyone else. Their hard work and passion to run a neighborhood restaurant is obvious when you bite into a delicious “Lee’s Double!” and that’s all a man can ask for. I don’t delete my initial comments because my intention is to constructively criticize. I change the initial “1 Star Review” to something that reflects what this business deserves when they treat a hard working person such as myself with respect and of course with a delicious burger!

Positive! I just wrote 5 paragraphs & lost it on a back track via Net (oops) Long story short, they have good grub, with quite a selection on menu! Folks are helpful and respectable when I came by! Also, they served & prepped quickly after taking my order. Asked if I would like to stay or Take-Out. The scoop on this "joint" is that they are becoming fewer and far between to find a cool Mom-Pop's dive with character that is down-to-earth and home eats. Pizzas & Hot-dogs made to your liking, but they have a might good hot-grill of diner like Hamburgers made the way I like! Of course I went over-board and ordered Onion-Rings topped with Chili-Cheese with more chopped onions ! They have fries, Hot-dogs, burgers, etc made to be dialed up as such; made to order. LOVE THIS PLACE! Note; they have a few other nice finds like Gyro's, Catfish, etc. look for the menu someone posted. It's there. I think they serve Beers there for the person looking to start drinking or just having one -OR- winding down for the night. But there is plenty of room for a group of 8 (two tables) or a couple folks in the corner. Parking is a little tight so you may need to go back off to the side or be resourceful ... careful near the intersection. Did I mention that the Ice-Cream is home made and they have some different picks! The fruit flavored varieties are a cool find and they have some other nice standards! Little costly, but they have it all worked out for a perfect scoop and not over the top! FLAVORS ARE GREAT. Over all, don't come in snobby, expecting fancy burger shack, as this is a respectable and worthy of filling up a stomach with half full pockets. Times are hard in the economy is not the best ... so gems like these are good to know they've made them-self avail. The folks work hard, so consider a tip, if a couple bucks or more as they were helpful, answered the phone, serve up the Lake Locals & passer buyerz ... looking for a 4th of July lunch snack. They were fast to prep & serve it up and I was grateful to see one of the owners look up and smile. A+ Yummy and great hospitality with a Family friendly atmosphere!

My experience at this place was OK Burgers are great the fries need a little more salt but they were good. The only thing was the wait. Cashier said give us 15min i waited 25min and when in to check on my order. Well it was still not ready! I waited a total of 40 min for 3 burgers and 3 fries. ALL the customers that went in after me ALL left before me.! Maybe they did call in order but I waited to damm long.. you should know telling customers 15 min isn't right, knowing its going to take longer.. but eyy these burgers were bomb. I'll definitely be back if I'm around the area, I'll just make sure I call 40 min before arriving.
