This was my 1st time here in yrs & I LOVE good Ole country cooking! It's my very favorite!!! And as far as waitresses go mine was THE BEST!! She was very friendly & sweet, I think her name was Brittney, and I liked her a lot!! But I'm sorry to say the young girl up front at the register was quiet the opposite, never smiled or said anything nice at all. If she's like that a lot then someone like that MAYBE isn't the right choice for up front! But for the most part my experience there was ok.. ish. I order steak tips, mashed potatoes & gravy, fried squash & Mac & cheese. And to be honest I have to say it was all ok, but no where near the best country cooking I've had. But it was no where near the worst either. The mashed potatoes & gravy was pretty good, and the Mac & cheese was alright, a LITTLE bland but ok, but I will say i thought the fried squash was way too mushy on the inside, but WAS crunchy on the outside, which I loved, and the steak was very plentiful, they give you a lot of it, and wasn't bad at all. So over all my experience was ok, but I have read other reviews for Carolina café and I have to say the owner doesn't show much professionalism when it comes to any criticism about his establishment, he seemed nice while I was there, but I also know my waitress did tell him I do reviews, soooo! I really hope it was genuine, but I think it's terrible that he kept trying to run people to McDonald's when he didn't like what they had to say about his place or food, like he could care less. So I have very mixed feelings about Carolina Café now because that's NOT how an owner of a business should behave. I didn't much like that.
We were visiting from Ohio…..best meal on our trip!! Food was delicious, hot and staff/owner were friendly and made our son feel special for his belated bday with family. Great atmosphere!! We will be back!!
We had the smoked brisket and beef tips both were outstanding! Our server was attentive and sweet. We met the owner Mike. What super nice and interesting guy. The attention to detail in both the food and cleanliness was top notch. Hidden gem for sure.

I just recently moved here so it was my first time eating there. My waitress went above and beyond to take care of me and my son. In the middle of my meal I was called into work and she got everything bagged up for me and taken care of so quickly. At this point you are an able to leave a tip on a debit or credit card so I felt so bad I was unable to tip her. The food was absolutely amazing and I will definitely be going back
I stopped in for breakfast with my son and daughter in law we were seated right away the waitress was attentive and took our order when we were ready the coffee was very good, the food came out quickly . We will definitely dine here again and would recommend Carolina Cafe to others.
I love the burgers! They definitely take care of their customers despite being short handed.

Stopped in for dinner on Thursday with family and food and service was great. Stopped in for breakfast the next morning and it was the same. Breakfast was great along with the service.
Great waitress’s, good food. Great place to be and the people are really fun to be around! Brittany is a great waitress, we have had her multiple times, she is friendly, helpful, knows the menu and talkative.
Service was a little slow but they were very busy. That is acceptable to me. Food, service and atmosphere were great.
The tips are the best ever here, and the service is exceptional, I've cane to this restaurant for awhile now and can say it's the best it's ever been!!! Now if only yaw could offer baked tater and sweet tater casserole everydayyyyyy lol, keep up the good work yaw, Oh yeah and I guess Brandy is amazing waitress as well, 😂,
