I enjoyed my visit, the wait staff was friendly, and the food was delicious, not sure if the kitchen staff was new but seemed a bit on the slow side (I had 15yrs exp) I was a bit surprised for a Friday Supper Rush, but there food was delicious. My only concern was the the lobby floor was mopped by a staff member and it could have been a "drier" mop, to prevent an accidental fall

I've been to this Denny's quite a few times, and I have a favorite waiter it just happens. Andy absolutely lights up my day no matter what, and it would be a lie if I didn't say that I've requested to be put in his area. I went to Denny's Friday morning after being isolated in my house for 2 weeks, recovering from being deathly sick and then finding out that my mom needs to be put in hospice care. I was in one of those kind of moods that you just stare at the ceiling all day thinking about what has to get done but your body just can't. All I wanted was for somebody else to pour me coffee. I went to denny's knowing that they don't do stuffed French toast, but I was hungry on the last and wanted a hot cup of coffee. I was already happy to see Andy smiling when I was seated, but then his over the top help to satisfy my craving for stuffed French toast even though it was not the same it definitely hit the craving. I don't know if he could tell that I needed it that day, but every bit of his attentiveness to detail while I sat alone just scrolling my phone and eating my food was so well needed. He even brought me a to-go cup of coffee that after my 4th cup of coffee I probably didn't need but I really did. Tell me again why people don't tip 100% at breakfast? Like cmon. He deserves everybit and more, and I will keep coming back to this dennys because of him. Thank you for being you Andy.
It's a Denny's so you should know what to expect. As a New Jersey local, I'm familiar with a good quality diner. We are the diner capital of the country. Denny's is a great diner experience with a lot of great food. It's also the best diner I was able to find in this area. I tried other places, but no one could make breakfast as good as Denny's. Not sure why people are so crazy about Waffle House in the south. It pales in comparison. Much larger menu, they actually mix cheese into your hash browns if you order them. Waffle House throws a slice on it and calls it a day.
My 5 star review is solely based on the service and quality of food my husband and I received tonight. Our server Steven went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional! He is a fantastic server and a wonderful person! I hope the manager sees this because Steven is a rarity when it comes to servers especially at this location! 🙂🙂
Nice place good cooks waitress was extremely nice cook was extremely nice. You get your money's worth.
I stopped for breakfast with my son and daughter in law we were seated right away our waitress was pleasant and attentive she took our order as soon as we decided what we wanted . The food was good it came out warm and we did not have to wait a long time for it. The only issue that we had was my daughter in laws silverware was not clean and we had to ask for new silverware the waitress was very concerned and apologetic overall it was a good dining experience.
I ordered the sirloin steak. I wanted it medium rare. It was perfect!!!! Real tender, cooked just right, and had great flavor. I highly recommend the sirloin steak. The waitress was awesome. I will definitely eat there the next time I go to Forest City, NC
The food was excellent, especially the pumpkin pecan pancakes. Our server Andy was fantastic. The restaurant was clean & the staff was very friendly. We haven't been to a Dennys in years but we will definitely be back!!
Tried the berry crepes for the first time and they were great! Michelle was our waitress and provided phenomenal service and will request her for future visits! We will be back. Best Denny’s by far!
I've been going to Denny's for over 50 years and never once have i had a bad experience! The menu's change often but you always get the same great tasting food!And the pancakes are the best you can't get those pancakes anywhere else!! The waitresses are always kind friendly and get the food to the table quick and hot just like i like it.
Decent place to grab a bite to eat. Convenient location with easy parking. Our experience has been that of good food and a friendly staff. The dine-in can get a little busy at times but the take-out is always simple and convenient. Their bourbon chicken is a family favorite.

I was a little apprehensive based on some reviews but gave it a try anyway. We were seated right away, had very friendly wait staff, food was good. So will be back because I love Dennys variety of food selection.

My brother, nephew and I stopped at Denny's in Spindale, NC after a trip to Hendersonville, NC on July 3rd. I had a burger and it was delicious. And I have been to Denny's in other towns and their tea was so bitter, I couldn't drink it. But this Denny's makes the best tea I ever drank.
The waitress that I had was patient with my daughter, who was very excited about eating pancakes. The food was freshly prepared in a timely manner.
