Great food, large portions, clean restaurant and happy friendly staff!
My wife and I got take out for dinner last night and everything was delicious! The portions were plenty big to make it so I could eat it for dinner, and lunch the next day!
The staff was so friendly and funny when I got there to pick up our order. She was great to help me and take good care!
I’ll be back for sure!
First time here. Best overall value in Houston for me so far! In fact, I don’t remember a time where I got fried chips, soup, egg roll (large too), rice, and a cookie at the end! Very tasty and service was impeccable! I wish I lived closer!!!
Great lunch menu prices and food. One of the first things to hit our table was a plate of crunchies, not everybody does these and they go good with soup. My wife loved her triple delight, chicken, shrimp and beef with plenty of tasty veggies, she got fried rice, fried spring roll and wonton soup. The soup had great wontons and the broth was flavorful...added a dash of chili oil to mine...yum. I went with General Tso's Chicken, you can order it spicier here, found that out by eavesdropping on the next table, I got the wonton soup, steamed rice and fried spring rolls. Every part of the lunch specials was amazing. They bring you a couple almond cookies along with a couple fortune cookies. The service was as good as the food. We will definitely be back when we're in the area.
This place really hits the spot when it comes to your craving for some good Chinese fried rice and accompanying cuisine!
The Bo Bo platter (sampler) pictured is a great start point and to me gives you the best of all their appetizers and a reasonable price. Honestly the whole menu to serving size ratio is appropriate and you'll be happy with your order size.
Mongolian Beef was really good and I would order again.
Place stays busy and for good reason! Locals know this place is legit.
Love to support local independent places and this one is a can't miss as well! So skip Panda and place your order here. They deliver and are on Uber Eats as well. (Order from them directly though)
Food was fresh, and pretty good, even though we both got the wrong thing. The waiter was pretty rude and seemed apathetic about his job so neither of us got what we asked for. The food looked good (even though it wasn't what we ordered), and we didn't want to make a fuss about it, so we just ate it, since we got things we do order sometimes. The woman who I can only assume is the owner was VERY nice, and the place and dishes/utensils were clean. We're definitely going back, but next time if I get the wrong dish I'm going to say something, and I don't want to have that male waiter again. I'm not asking for mister sparkle sunshine or anything, but at least get our orders correct. We spoke clearly, he just didn't care. Look, I get it. I'm not a waiter type either. Go work in a warehouse or sit behind a computer.
Overall I am very happy with this place. The fried dumplings were actually very filling and had nice meat stuffed inside. We did the pork. We got the General Tso Beef, which was super tender and had good flavor. The sesame chicken was good, but nothing to write home about. My only complaint was the fried rice that came with the meals. It was literally white rice with a bit of egg. Luckily that’s not why we ordered here. I will definitely order here again. Solid Chinese food
Consistently fresh. Some items are better than others... Not a fan of their lo mein (noodles are more on the Udon size and overwhelmed with too many veggies) but their Sesame Beef is the best I've had... Can't go wrong with their perfectly crispy (and never too oily) Crab Rangoon or traditional egg rolls. Dumplings are massive, too!
Bonus is that they deliver to a good size radius... Fast service.
This restaurant serves up some good Chinese food. While they do take some time to serve my order it tastes great. Try the egg roles they're huge!
This place is amazing! Must try!! They are super busy ALL the time and they have awesome some service
They are always in a great attitude no matter how busy it is
They have such great variety of food, seafood, poultry, vegetables, vegan as well!
They have amazing Lo Mein & they actually put huge shrimp in their food!! They don’t put tiny baby shrimp no. They also don’t just out 3 shrimp in the shrimp fried rice or shrimp lo Mein no they have a bunch of shrimp!!
They have great crab ragoons and they have the HUGEST DUMPLINGS! SO GOOD! Must try! They offer steamed dumplings and fried dumplings!
I’m surprised this place doesn’t have more reviews considering how extremely busy they are
They have great food, great service and they make ordering very flexible for you. You can call in, order take out, dine in or delivery is an option as well!
Must try!
Got our ordered delivered and it was delivered very quickly and was nice and hot when we got it. They actually have a delivery driver on their payroll and don’t sub it out to Uber eats or the various other delivery services which can be a disaster sometimes.
Food was good, pretty much exactly what you would expect quality and taste wise. My only complaint is they didn’t give us any duck or hot mustard & only 3 packets of soy sauce. I specifically asked for hot mustard because it’s my favorite condiment ever but sadly didn’t get any.
Overall good experience and will keep ordering from here.
So this place was awesome ... I have to say that by absolute far, these were the best and largest egg rolls I have ever had .... the chicken fried rice was a huge delight aswell ... I highly suggest stopping by if in the area ... I drove 35 min and it was worth it
we eat there often, and it is very consistent, and always fresh and very hot. It is almost like we are eating in the kitchen because it comes out hot, and always good.
The owner is very nice. She greets everyone with a smile. She knows her customers personally.
The waiters are very attentive to your needs. The food is great. They also adjust the food to your dietary needs.
Listen,
This place, if you really like Chinese food, and know good Ole 1970 red table cloth, Chinese lamps. Well it's not 1970 anymore but the food is fantastic, and the owner couldn't not be more motherly. And I promised her I would get on here and say a couple things already. In Houston it's 🔥 damn hot. Now she has a owner of the property that she has her restaurant in. Because she is such a great person and cares for her loyal customers, and every one is met with a hug and felt welcome. But they didn't want to help her, keeping customers cool, and this year "hottest year ever, so far" she spent her own money, and someone overcharged her, but he did a good job. Today when I walked in for the first time, here she comes, "Welcome Michael " name tag, not famous. But I went from blistering hot triple didgits plus heat index, to like 68°. That was enough for the check, just the comfort and atmosphere and clean, you could eat off the floors. And made us take a drink to go, for safety, she cares. And when you tip, to insure prompt or proper service, remember how fresh, how great and how nice you are treated.
A Michael Garrison Jr. Houston resident favorite. I know it was long, but it is that good.
First time eating here! Was very impressed with the relaxed environment and top notch service! Their menu covered a wide variety of offerings and even the pickiest eater should be able to find something they will like! Very affordable.
