We like coming here when we’re in the area. I absolutely love the sopes benedict, our son had the Monte Cristo and my husband the skillet. Very reasonable pricing, friendly staff, and very little wait time in general.
This place is amazing!!!!!! The staff is absolutely wonderful. Jennifer our waitress was so sweet and attentive. Everything we ordered was so fresh and delicious. I ordered a golden gate Benedict and it was perfect. My daughter had the sweet trio and it was delicious!!!! Also they have amazing coffee and omelets. My husband had the el Fuego plate and loved it. The biscuits and gravy tastes homemade, a definite must!We used to drive all the way to the vintage to eat at another broken egg but the broken yolk is fantastic we will be coming here from now on.
A fairly good breakfast place. The Monte Cristo was a lot of bread so I probably wouldn't order it again. But the chilaqiiles are pretty good. Service was great.
The restaurant is a little bit small, but the food is really good and the portions are pretty good as well. The place might be a little bit pricey compared to alike restaurants though. The service was great and fast.
Clean. Spacious. Inviting. Environment is calming. Parking can be a challenge but there is more in the area. Food was good - seasoned in the basics. If you prefer pop seasoning for your taste, this is not the place. Menu has a variety of options. Waiter [didn't have a name tag] was kind and minimal in professionalism - not a bad thing. He did his part in everything. Enjoyed that experience.
This was my first time visiting the establishment and I must say I had an amazing experience. I like the location and the building is very modern. I was greeted by Marc who had a very pleasant disposition. He also took my order and brought my food. I had the acai bowl and the new Spicy Vegan Bowl which was amazing! I definitely plan on going back since I don't live too far from the establishment. It is conveniently located near HEB and Starbucks which are two of my other frequented places. Thanks for a great experience Broken Yolk and I look forward to eating there again.
Broken Yolk Cafe on Louetta at the Stuebner Airline intersection in Spring Texas.
Great place for breakfast, the menu is expensive including eggs, egg combos, avocado toast, eggs Benedict, Mexican classic breakfast s, biscuits and gravy, omelettes, skillet combos, pancakes, waffles, french toast and last but not least- CREPES
The restaurant is very clean and wait staff is attentive. Not crowded for a Tuesday morning, but tables were being moved quickly.
Today they were serving everyone a sample of the Raspberry Crunch French Toast. Very light, raspberry sauce was not overwhelming.
With the French Toast devoured in pleasure, I ordered a short stack of pancakes with chocolate chips.
Couldn't come close to eating these two pancakes. Very good and the chocolate chips melted just right
Thanks for the nice breakfast, I'll be back to continue exploring your menu.
Really chilled and cozy place. The food comes in big portions so be ready to eat! The water is not the greatest, it honestly taste like dirt. My scramble eggs were not good either, they felt undercook and no flavor. But other than that, the rest of the food was phenomenal!
I have seen this place for many years and this was my first time eating there. The food was good especially the biscuits and gravy. The hashbrowns were good as well. I will return again!
Our food was cooked just right and tasted very good! Our service was awesome. Will definitely go back! Good coffee too!
I treated my mom and aunt to breakfast and everyone agrees it’s Aaaaaamazing! I got the American breakfast with corn beef hash, fruit and English muffin. Mom had the Greek omelette and my aunt had the Mom Omelette both had hash browns and English muffin. The corn beef hash was the best and my mom and aunt agreed! The restaurant was busy so we waited 20 minutes but the food was worth the wait. Our server Mya was attentive and Jaden came out twice to check on us too. Really great service and good ❤️❤️
At first this place did not get me the best impression what I went inside, because it had a weird smell to it and for some reason it was extremely cold. Not only temperature cold, but it felt like the patrons were being cold as well and the ambience of the room was cold. It could have just felt like that because it was really morning, and I noticed quickly that we were the only girls wearing hijabs.
However that took a change when our sweet server came and got our order. She was really kind and quickly brought out our food, was sweet to my toddler and gave me different options that I asked for as well, like extra half and half and Splenda for my coffee. Would go back just for the service alone!
My wife went once and we went together this morning. The food selection is fresh and enticing, an absolute must try. Food was amazing! Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are big. I love the vibe and staff is great. Nice rewards program. I will be back again very soon! Rahvin was an amazing waitress ask for her.
Great find! Today was our first stop here, and it definitely will not be our last! An extensive menu will make it easy to bring anyone along for a great meal & good old plain cup of black coffee.
You definitely need to stop by here!!! Everything is absolutely delicious and fresh. The staff is super friendly. You can get breakfast or lunch your choice. In my opinion the service is really fast.
This place never disappoints! I love coming here. I usually get the ranchero skillet. They also have by far the best chorizo I have had here in Texas. I definitely recommend this place. This staff is friendly as well.
1st visit, 20 minute wait, we were supposed to receive a text but after 25 minutes we returned to the hostess stand and were seated. Menu has a nice selection and some healthier options. Ordered the Monte Cristo and wife ordered a few Benedicts, both with hashbrowns. Entree was hot but the potatoes were room temp and a bit soggy. I'm still looking for a place that impresses me with their hashbrowns.... Mine was pretty good. It was delivered with just a smear of raspberry sauce so I requested more. Wife really enjoyed the Benedicts. The house red and green salsas are very good. The shredded beef was not shredded but still good. Service was on the better side of okay with plenty of staff running trays. Fairly clean. Very noisy. A few of the staff STILL don't know how to wear masks correctly over a year into the pandemic. We'll be back for another round.
