A lot of folks in the know proclaim Camp Washington Chili as the best in town, but I give that crown to Blue Ash Chili
The chili is excellent here, and the double decker sandwiches are a close second. I remember my dad bringing home half double decker from his lunch, and there being enough meat left on the left over half for all us kids to make a sandwich for our packed lunch.
This location is more accessible and has a lot more available parking that the original location in (of course) Blue Ash, but all the same great food
No - your eyes are not deceiving you - I just took a crappy fuzzy pic. I was hungry - that's my only excuse. . So there we were - finally trying the Blue Ash Chili by Tri-County Mall - we've been to the other two locations (Mason & Blue Ash) - but not to the one near the mall. We met up after work one night to check it out.
Stopped in for a quick lunch bite. The counter seat is the place to be. You get to see all of the action from the kitchen and all of the menu come out. Had the cheese coneys and they were awesome. Got the side of bacon. It is a mound of perfectly cooked and crisp bacon on a plate that is so delicious. All of the staff was really nice especially our server Brandy C. They would stop and show us quickly the food as they took it to the tables. Awesome little restaurant! Sorry I ate the coneys before I could take a pic, they looked so good
1st visit recommended by my cousin, coming from Hertz Rental On Dixie Hwy. Great food and staff was very attentive I will be back. I had pastrami and Swiss with egg whites, a cheese coney and a 5 way chili with a Corona. We had a blast
It was good Cincy-Tucky chilli! There were many menu options to choose from both with chilli and without! It was an enjoyable meal!
Great food, awesome service! We drove from Illinois and were very excited to have this restaurant near by. Would love to try their breakfast.
Lovely restaurant. Very clean. You could tell our waitress took pride in her job and the establishment itself, which in itself was very refreshing.
And of course the food was absolutely delicious. Generous portions all around.
We plan on eating here again this weekend on our way to Bass Pro
Huge portions of really terrific food. My family members each ordered a Double Decker, and took half their sandwich home. I ordered 5-Way (lighter in the meat and cheese, heavier on the pasta & onions. No problem. Personally, I think that the flavor of the meat was superior to Skyline's. I barely made it through 1/3 of my dinner and took the rest out for 1-1/2 more meals. All three servers were friendly and helpful. Each did something to keep the time flow smooth. And, they didn't rush us out the door; we were visiting for the first time in a couple of years. I saw BAC on DDD and wanted to try them. They're on my Forever List!
Very much a good, basic, diner experience. Our server was nice. The food was decent. I had to experience the local delicacy (as pictured). It was... something... for this RI Italian lol!
An alternative to Skyline and Gold Star. They have a 6-way that includes jalapeno slices (fresh or fried) that's quite good. My wife tried their slaw dog, which is a chili cheese Coney with coleslaw on top, and fell in love with it. Staff was attentive and friendly.
