My daughter turned me on to this place …and I love it! … the food, service, drinks and music are all great. When you walk in, you are hit with a wonderful smell of spices that makes your mouth water. Orders are processed quickly, the prices are fair, and food tastes amazing. I’ve tried almost every item on menu, and all are delicious. I especially love their Tortas, they are so good and so filling.

First, let me just say the tacos here are out of this world! The meat is tender, juicy, and full of flavor 🤤; they have a variety of salsas to add a lil something extra-extra to almost any dish off the menu 🥰. It’s not all pictured as I couldn’t contain myself the first round, but so far for tacos I’ve had the carne asada, and pollo. Second, the ceviche……double 🤤🤤! It’s bursting with the traditional ingredients, then the added bonus of rings of calamari. I highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the mood for some seriously delicious tacos, chips n guac, and churros as you won't be disappointed!

These two "monstrosities" are just ONE sandwich. I was telling my friend, who was the one who suggested this place, that this was the best sandwich (torta) I have had in a LONG time! The whole thing probably weighs 2 pounds... And the many flavors inside are just SO good! Great job TB, I only wish I lived closer, but will definitely come back for more! 🥪🥪🥪

YUM! We had the nachos with ground beef, buffalo wings, and two specialty tacos - Uncle Junior and Ricky Bobby. The Ricky Bobby was delicious! I had reservations, but the basil sauce on it pulled it all together nicely! The ground beef is flavored with chipotle peppers, but is not super spicy. They have several sauces but none are too too hot. Wings were hard fried and delicious. Generous on the meat.

This place is a fantastic spot for a wide range of tacos! The Vic-fil-a Deluxe and the Coco Loco Shrimp were both delightful. We also sampled The Jeffery, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed, although it wasn't my personal favorite. The BBQ Pork Empanadas were a unanimous hit - absolutely delicious and worth every calorie. I will definitely be adding this to my list of favorite taco places.

Love the fact that there is a bar inside, so you can order drinks and get great Mexican food at the same time. Ordered food, but it took a while to come out, but understandable considering how popular this location is in the middle of the afternoon.

Taco bamba is a really good taco joint in the area. I ordered the tacos Al pastor as well as a coconut shrimp taco. Both were really tasty. I love how they allow their customers to get as much sauce as they please and have lots of varieties. The tacos are very greasy and messy but overall I enjoyed the experience.

This place is next level. I’ve been here a few times and the food is amazing. My wife and I would travel 20+ miles passing numerous Mexican restaurants to go to this place. It hits the mark every time and the staff are very friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for next level tacos and Mexican food. 5/25/23 - Came here again today and absolutely loved everything I had. It’s been a bit since I’ve been here and certainly missed it. The Mexican style food here is just spot on! Everything is always perfect! Love it!

I came here earlier today with my sister as we were stopping by in Alexandria for a special matter, and we were looking for a chic and laid-back taco spot. Taco Bamba in Springfield pretty much checked all the boxes for us - plus it was technically only a little bit off the beaten path, whilst situated ever so approximately on (or along) the road back. Located in a casual, up-scale spot directly adjacent to the main road. Parking is plenty and accessible, thanks to the lot in front. I initially did not know what to order, so I looked for reviews to guide me to a sumptuous taco dish. Oh Magic 8 Ball, what should I order here? Just looking at the menu, I decided on a Taco Bamba. From a recommendation there, I picked up the Ricky Bobby was also very much in-demand here, so I locked in on that as well. My sister had two fish tacos, and Corn On the Cob. The Pescado and Al Pastor; I know the former is Spanish for — quite literally — “fish”. Both were healthy picks overall. Important bit — I recommend getting at least *two* tacos. Each taco item is priced at or below $5, and only includes (the meat and ingredients) packed in a small flour tortilla. I attached pictures so others can judge for themselves. I would dare say one is not enough by itself, however. Dined in inside, near the window facing the storefront. Seats were just plastic stools but not uncomfortable. Atmosphere was decent. There were a lot of people here at the time we came — around 1pm for lunchtime. The Corn On the Cob was simply excellent, and dare I say “to die for”. I have not had occasion to have it before. The Mexican style is excellent. A lot of cheese packed on top of it. Creamy and cheesy. Just wonderful. I didn’t want to stop, but it was not my dish, so I only had a few (customary) bites to be safe. Both my tacos were excellent. They both had red peppers and similar ingredients, so I couldn’t tell them apart. There was one with carne asada — the longer and premium, finger-length steak cuts. I liked that taco a lot more. A new personal favorite. The other one was good too, but not great. Overall, the food and ambiance was rather on point here. I hesitate to give full marks here, but for a casual lunch on the long(ish) drive back, this taco joint definitely hit the spot. Tacos. Casual. Light (not overly filling). Modestly priced. Tacos. Really can’t go wrong with this in mind.

I've always ordered take out at Taco Bamba, but I hope to go eat there in person because the food is fire! There are good vegetarian and vegan options, like the Cali Mist Veggie Torta and the eggplant tacos. Highly recommend!

I don’t usually eat lots of tacos but this place is different than the average tacos! Also surprised by their fries - ordered it as a side but everyone at the table couldn’t stop stealing it. And the Empanadas are delicious too…

This is a favorite quick date night spot for me and my boyfriend. The food is always excellent and fairly priced, and service is quick. It does get quite hot and noisy inside the restaurant so we typically opt to eat outside when the weather permits. The only thing that could be better is if the outdoor tables were cleaned and restocked more frequently, but that's a high expectation because seating is self-serve and those tables are often occupied non-stop throughout the evening.

The tacos here are the best I have ever had however the cooks are inconsistent. The first time I went was like heaven in my stomach, The second time was pretty good also, but the third and fourth time I went the food was so greasy I could barely finish it. I drive approximately 30 minutes to get these tacos so I would love for them to be consistent because that is a long drive for soggy greasy tacos.

THE place to go for street tacos, but their Mexican Street Corn is even better. It's one of my favorite restaurants. Their musical choices are very good, but I wish they'd turn it down a little.

I love their interesting menu options. Everything we tried had an amazing flavor. They absolutely nailed the lengua (beef tongue) and the goat, two proteins that can be tough to prepare. All the meat was incredibly tender. The tacos were super hearty and filling. I couldn't even finish 3. There are at least 5 more tacos on the menu that I'm eager to try. I'll definitely be coming back!

Solid spot with creative and classic tacos. The tortillas used don’t break (kudos!) and they are amply filled. I would recommend 3-4 if you’re hungry. The classic street tacos will cost you 3$ and their fusion tacos 4$ a piece. Some of the neat was a bit dry but well flavored. Better environment for adults; nice bar too. Their torta campechana is to die for.... I try and stay away from gluten but dang, that thing is delicious!
