I've been here twice and thoroughly enjoyed myself both times. In the past I saw a parody of the show Supernatural and currently a variety show that had everything from poetry and tap dancing to cover bands. A performer did an opera song from the movie Repoman, wow, that was amazing. The venue is clean and we'll lighted between shows. Seating changes slightly depending on the show. For example there are very comfortable (ie plush) couches and chairs that never move, but if the show brings a large crowd, folding chairs will be setup to accommodate. The overall layout is like a coffee shop / living room. I feel this gives the place a nice ambience. Staff has been polite and cordial for both my visits. I have not tried any food. The menu has some sandwiches, cookies / deserts, water, coffees, and soda. They accept cash, credit, debit, and nfc payments. ( I used Android Pay, therefore I assume Apple Pay and others would work also). What maybe considered negative would be the following; Between shows there is only two tables to sit at and a limited place to stand (many people mingle outside until the event starts). There is only one bathroom, it is a single toilet that is shared by everyone (for my visits it was clean, fully stocked, I have zero complaints).

Friendly and welcoming staff and atmosphere. Amazing coffee and good conversation. They have a lot to offer on their menu food and beverage wise an a nice space in the back to chill out and study and enjoy some life music. Hannah was so kind and the owner made sure I enjoyed my coffee. You won’t be disappoint!

Great atmosphere, HUGE space downtown with lots of extremely comfortable seating and nice lighting. There’s lots of British memorabilia and coloring books to entertain, as well as live music sometimes! They offer a student discount and have great hot cocoa. I will come back!

Went to see Supernatural parody and it was the best one yet. Great place for the Class Act production's crew. My group only had a tea but it was lukewarm at best. Love the venue but hope the barista improves.

Tried this place for the first time today and I will for sure go again. They gave a first timer discount which I appreciated. The guy at the counter could not have been any nicer. He was helpful and friendly. I had a cornish pasty and iced tea. Both were very tasty and the ice tea was different but delicious. Only thing that was strange was that despite it being lunch time, I was the only person in the place with the exception of a musician practicing on stage and some of his buddies. They were friendly but kept talking to me when all I wanted was a quiet lunch. Like I said, I will go again!

Awesome chill space for anyone. Average priced menu items. Hilarious pun titled foods. Very British. Huge room with lounges and tables. Steampunk decor and a stage room for shows. The owner is working on hosting some big events very soon. MSU students have access to the parking lot directly across the street!

I think every Springfieldian should give this place a try. We came to watch Regulate the Vibe play on a Saturday night. We tried the cucumber sandwich, the beefeater sandwich, sticky toffee pudding, sausage rolls, apricot jam tart, British bulldog latte, and London fog. I thought the bulldog drink was really delicious and I really liked the sticky toffee pudding and the sausage rolls. The caramel sauce on the pudding is really tasty 👌 they said they have a bakery on Commercial Street make all of their baked goods. The sausage rolls and pudding were both served warm, which was nice. The sandwiches were ok - not my most favorite. The bread seemed like it was just from the grocery store and they were served with a side of plain potato chips. To be brutally honest, I would probably pick going to London Calling for British food in Springfield. Mainly because their food seems more fresh and authentic. I think I like the fresh beverages here better than the canned ones at London calling -- although it's fun to try canned drinks from other countries. I would definitely come back to Bits of Britain. They were out of pasties -- so we will have to come back and try those later. I also want to try the Hing Kong Smog drink.
