I have been coming here for a number of years and have always enjoyed their really good chili but this is the first time I've ate breakfast here and it is now my favorite place to eat breakfast in town some of the most tender beef brisket I've ever had and everything including their Bread is made from scratch super good place to eat if you never tried anything else on the menu I highly suggest it
Happened upon this wonderful place while googling for breakfast while in town for Dierks Bentley the fair! So glad we found it - Wonderful food, great service and good prices. You can even have chili for breakfast which delighted my honey! I really enjoyed talking to the owner's daughter. Very sweet and we learned alot about the sauces and rubs. Such a neat little cute place - made for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. We left happy with our Sack of Shit! ;) LOL! Thanks for everything! We'll be back if we make it over to Springfield again! <3 :)
O.M.G. I had breakfast today and one of the specials was smoked brisket and eggs which I had and it was beyond delicious! Smoked brisket for breakfast? Absolutely! The service was excellent and the owner was extremely friendly. I will definitely be going back!
This place is great. It has the BEST brisket in town. It’s tender, slightly smoky, and melts in your mouth. You don’t even need sauce.
Really everything was delightful. We had sides of mac ‘n cheese, beets, coleslaw, and roasted potatoes. All of it was homemade. You can tell the cooks put their heart into making our dinner.
Definitely come here!
We love Cook’s! Food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff is amazing. If you’re looking for a “regular” place that feels like home, this is it.

Fun little place... was in town for a business meeting... Google Maps displayed this as one of several options that is a "local favorite" so... I went with the locals and gave it a try. VERY glad I did! The Chili Blanco was delish! The peeps were very friendly! Quite the unique little place! Well worth the stop and definitely will be on my list to visit again!!!
We prefer locally owned businesses, and Cook's is not only local but family owned and operated. The menu is extensive with a variety of chilli, horseshoes, sandwiches, fish, ham and beans, soups. Plus breakfast, lunch and dinner served all day. The food is always tasty, great coffee, and they now have evening hours (except Monday and Tuesday). Staff are friendly, professional. Love this place.
If you've never stopped for breakfast, do yourself a big favor and stop and sample home cooking at its best!!! Goldie, Donna, Dana and all the staff are second to none!

Wonderful little eatery my sister and I happened upon on our short road trip to Springfield. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to have a great lunch. Well worth the stop!

I love this little place! Great food! Everyone is so polite & friendly. We ordered ribs. So delicious! I am so glad my sister-in-law introduced me to this great place! Now, I bring my husband & father-in-law here! We love it.
It is a great family and friends atmosphere to eat and you meet a lot of great people..The owners are awesome people...LOVE the restaurant!! I would recommend Cook's to anyone!:-)
I have been going there practically since it opened and have always received good food. I particularly like their red chilli which is not greasy and has tomatoes and green peppers in it. They have 6 other types chilli that are all mild but have a large variety of hot sauces so you can make it as hot as you can stand. All their food is prepared when you order so it is fresh and often can be modified to suit your taste. I eat breakfast there most mornings and then do the crossword and sudoku puzzles while I drink coffee. Come give it a try.
