The great thing about the Curve is the Staff! They are consistently friendly, funny and are all about customer service. The food is great, the bands are always top-notch, and the sound quality is the best in Springfield thanx to Ric Major. It's got the neighborhood pub feel all the way but a budget to bring in national acts every so often. Kudos to Ami, Ray and Don!! Keep up the good work!

First time there was last night, which was St. Paddy's day. The place was packed. Julie was our waitress and she did a great job. The food was good and so were our drinks.

Always a great time at The Curve. Beautiful Thursday evening, with great live music (as is to be expected by the musical reputation this place has continued to uphold for the last I-don't-know-how-many-years).

The Curve Inn is a bar you can walk into alone and when you leave you have 50 new friends including the bartenders and owners. Ami, Ray and Don are incredibly friendly and make everyone feel welcome! The food is delicious, the beer is cold and the live music is second to none!

Great local drinking hole always a good looking tender. Worst is when you get there early to get a table to see the band then a group with another table decided to stand in front of us and use our table to set there empties on, trash can 10 feet away.

To convey the essence, the draw that is "The Curve," one must accept the bite of a brisk autumn gust. Those acclimated to central Illinois call this place home. They are used to a lot of wind coming from the North... And South. I came from Alabama. I'm not "from there" but it's another place I call home. It's a familiar place in America. Seriously, The Curve is a better Alabama, Southern hospitality, thank you auntie for the ribs... Kind of bar, than a lot of the commercial stuff that's washing up on our beaches. The stuff here, most of it, was made somewhere in America. Yes, the owners of international brands move money across borders... It's federally regulated commerce. Americans didn't come up with all of the things needed to make this a planetary species. We run this planet. And, places like this are as valuable as the Garden of the Gods in Illinois, or Colorado, or any other formation of awe inspiring, natural wonders... Notice the care taken, to update, adjust, reinforce, rethink... The evidence is all there. They welcome the ivy, and the birds... The chirping is lovely. Careful not to sit directly under them 😁 There is a regular cycle to The Curve. Afternoons, weekday, you might catch some wisdom... Or at least a good fishing story. Evening weekday.... Dart games with lots of regular players, willing to share their hobbies with newcomers and visitors. The weekends, evenings, are flooded with young faces making their way to or from other spots. There is a gap in the afternoon, 2-5 I think, where food service is suspended. Visiting around 11 on a weekday is nice. I ain't rich enough to buy out a bar for myself... But going in when it's not too busy, it's close enough for me. The staff stays serving shots and spirits. But, between the coasters and karaoke, you can catch their name and a smile. Preserve The Curve. Enjoy The Curve. Treat The Curve like The Grand Canyon... They have made me feel welcome. With time, you might feel the same. All you can do, is try.

Referred by friends as the place to go for comfy neighborhood bar food & drinks. Was in town for State Fair and went there post Fair and then again post dinner downtown . Fantastic service and staff . Stopped in again on my way back to St Louis from Milwaukee and was treated to a unforgettable breaded pork tenderloin sandwich special . Just WOW...Just visit and you'll be hooked too .
