When we entered out host Josiah looked up our reservation and promptly had our table ready. Our server Ken took great care of us throughout our visit. Atmosphere was vey pleasant, music was not too loud. Our appetizer was different, but very good. We chose the candied jalapeños. My wife had the lasagna with cucumber and onion salad. Very good!! I chose prime rib with the potatoes au gratin. The prime rib was amazing, amazing!! Delicious!! Potatoes au gratin was delicious and prepared very well. We had Long Island iced teas for our drinks and they were excellent. In short, we had a great experience and will definitely be back to try some other items on the menu!!!
Best steak in town. Fair price for the steak too but the sides are a la carte. Which kind of dampened the mood but the steak more than made up for it. Great drinks as well.

I’ve been living overseas for a while and this used to be one of my favorite places to eat in Springfield. After 10 years, they are still awesome! Great service and delicious food! Ice water came to our table within 30 seconds of sitting down.
We ordered and shared the Chicken Marsala, Cecil House salad and I ordered two of the Oysters Rockefeller.
First to come out was the salad and the complementary toasted bread with some oil for dipping. The salad and bread were perfectly prepared and tasted fresh.
The Chicken Marsala came out almost immediately after we finished the salad. Timing on their part was incredibly well thought out.
The Chicken Marsala was amazing! The sauce with mushrooms was executed quite well. We decided to order the veggie if the day to accompany the main, which was the green beans. Also great!

Food was great tasting. I had the Lamb Chops and my wife had the rib eye. Tasted great. Price was the issue. I can't understand a 12 OZ Steak costing 28.00 and that's all you get. Lets be real even a baked potato is cheap. Nope not here. Ala cart is the way they get you. I would not go back strictly due to the price with nothing. Gave them a 4 star because it was cooked and tasted great. I would recommend doing the patrons just a little more for the buck !!
Service was excellent and best of all you could have a conversation without straining to hear the other person. No loud music. Food was very well prepared and presented beautifully.
Always good. If you like live music go on their final Friday's. Reservations recomended! 4/13/22 had the surf n turf Cecil house salad! 👍🏽
Thus was pur first visit to Cecil and Lime. We met long time friends there. Food was awesome. Service was incredible. Highly recommended!!
I had heard of this establishment for a few years, but had never taken the plunge. The atmosphere, the wait staff, the food - all superb. For a Springfield fine dining experience, it's a winner!
