We had such good food, drinks and conversation we were there for 3 hours Friday night!! We started with the crab croquettes which were 100% pure crab and absolutely delicious. We then ordered the stuffed grape leaves that were so fresh and delicious! For our dinner we had the lamb shank and zataar chicken. Absolutely phenomenal. We had been told by our hotel that this is place to go for best lamb and boy they were right! Will post before and after pics! I was curious about the spice zataar and it's history. We were told by the owner about my new favorite spice and they even gave me some to take home!! What a great place! Thank you to the 3 Js and friends for making our first night in town such a wonderful one! Oh and drinks were yummy too! šŸ˜‹

Simply amazingā€¦..first class without being pretentious. The four of us started out with Mezza and a falafel plate served with freshly made hummus and pita bread. My husband and I ordered the unique Caesar salad and Feast of Brizo. (Red Snapper) the Brizo was cooked to perfection. My brother-in-law is a vegetarian and was pleased when they presented him with his dish. My sister had the lamb shank. The Owner was extremely nice and the server was remarkably good. Do NOT miss out..this is a ā€œmust go toā€ restaurant. You wonā€™t be sorry.

Absolutely loved this place and it was the highlight of our St Michaelā€™s weekend. Aida created phenomenal vegan dishes for us that were beautifully plated with fresh ingredients that were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Janann, our server, was delightful. She provided a warm and welcoming experience that made our visit even more special. The hospitality offered by both was greatly appreciated. Looking forward to our next visit and highly recommend. The quality of service and food is well worth the price.

Phenomenal!!! Came as a group of 12 and staff were so accommodating. The pork chops were so juicy and flavorful and just perfectly cooked. The blood & sand cocktail was good and strong. Staff were so friendly and charismatic and handled our big group with ease.

An amazing meal from start to finish. I am a very picky eater and there is literally something for everyone. My husband and I went for his birthday dinner. We had the Sahara chips and OMG I couldn't stop eating them. The fresh baked, house made focaccia bread was delicious. My filet was perfectly cooked with a generous portion of lump crab meat and shrimp on top. Beautiful plate presentations too. The owner and staff are so friendly and professional. They serve a palette cleanser before your entree is served. Great wine as well. Fresh house made desserts, we had the Grand Marnier Creme Brulee and the decadent cheesecake which was garnished with beautiful dried flowers. Definitely plan on taking your time when you done here, you are going to want to savor every bite. My Chef hubby was even impressed. I can't wait to go back.

Excellent service ā€” staff/owner genuinely interested in their guests having an enjoyable experience. Very comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. Food was excellent! Best pork chop Iā€™ve ever eaten in a restaurant- perfectly cooked and seasoned, not too salty. ā€œGreekishā€ feta salad delicious, generous amounts of feta with ripe, tasty tomatoes ( even in October!). Overall would recommend.

Amazing, incredible, awesome food. Aida and Raida Khalil are so experienced and wonderful from the get-go of opening this restaurant. Every dish was perfectly prepared and presented with a Maryland meets Mediterranean flare. The filet was tender and melted in your mouth and the baklava cheesecake delicious...this is a must stop in St. Michaels, Maryland.

We travel to St Michael's by boat every few years and were wonderfully surprised to happen upon this new restaurant. My wife is attracted by restaurants that advertise a Mediterranean connection and Plates at 208 did not disappoint. From the light and refreshing Sahara chips to the Seafood Tangine, everything was full of flavor. The star of the night though was the Shrimp Bisque. We look forward to returning to try their Feast of Brizo specialty. Highly recommended for a special night out.

A dining experience. The staff was nice and very knowledgeable of the wine list. Ask for a recommendation and they will gladly provide their expertise. Perfect for group dinners. They also have several vegan and vegetarian dishes available as well as carnivor specialties. Save room for dessert! The pistachio cake thingy is AMAZING!

Iā€™ve eaten here twice and both times itā€™s been fantastic. The service is excellent, the wine selection is very good and the chef is outstanding. Overall it was a wonderful night out. I would highly recommend it if you like fine dining at a very reasonable price.

What an incredible new addition to the St Michael's dining scene! Plates at 208 is absolutely phenomenal! The snapper entree is one of the best preparations I've ever had and the Baklava sundae was to die for. While the food was incredible, what made the evening truly magical was the warmth and caring of every member of the team - they truly treat you like family! I can't wait to return!

My FiancƩe and I were absolutely blown-away by our dinner experience at this wonderful new restaurant in St. Michaels. The menu offers a wide variety of Mediterranean cuisine, from Syrian to Greek, Lebanese to Moroccan, there's something for everyone and it's all delicious. They also have a great wine list that perfectly complements their food. But, even beyond the food and wine, the reason we can't wait to go back to Plates at 208 is the amazing hospitality shown by every member of the staff. From our waitress Janann who was genuinely excited for us to experience the food, to the incredibly welcoming manager who made us feel as if we were being welcomed into a friend's home for dinner. We cannot wait to return to this restaurant for years to come.

Beautiful experience! I spent my Saturday evening at Plates at 208. The new owners did a phenomenal job renovating the place. Lovely ambiance. My appetizer and dinner was 5 stars. Presentation to taste, top tier. And my desert was the best Iā€™ve ever had! Professional and friendly staff! Highly recommend this place to everyone! Best dining experience Iā€™ve had in quite some time. Will be back!

I cannot rave about this place enough. What a magnificent addition to St. Michael's. The food and the wine were both incredible, each delicious bite and sip somehow even better than the one before. But the true star here, even beyond the one hundred percent stellar cuisine, was the welcoming atmosphere from literally every staff member (shout out to my girl Janann but truly everyone was an absolute delight!). This will be a "must - go" for every single visit to town not just for us as a couple, but for family and friends too. Shukran, from the bottom of our hearts! We hope you find prosperity and joy here for many many years to come!

Only the second night open but already very good. The food was very well prepared and beautifully plated. Generous portions, well-seasoned without overpowering the fresh ingredients. Scallops, mezza platter, and cheese course plus baklava cheesecake were all delicious. This is quality food prepared well. We will be back.
