I'm not an online reviewer, but I wanted to chime in on this place. My wife, daughter and I ate here this weekend for first time. The owner was very welcoming and provided impeccable service. This place serves *serious* Italian food for people who know the difference. Perfectly seasoned and prepared - rigatoni - al dente - not mush - fresh ingredients, fresh spices that you can taste just enough - unique ingredients - gooseberries - they are paying attention to what separates good from great when it comes to Italian food. Sweet, savory, balanced flavors, enough salt - right on the money. I thought prices were very reasonable. I read some unreasonable reviews complaining about prices here. That's hilarious. True - Olive Garden is cheaper. But you're not getting real-deal meatballs and slow cooked marinara at other cheaper places, I promise. Even so, this place is a fraction of what you pay in NYC for this quality. I will become a regular here, guaranteed. I really look forward to going back..
Sunny and Frankie's is our favorite place. The food is always outstanding, their service is impeccable and the atmosphere is very comfy and cozy. Angelo, Kim, and Corey know great food with outstanding service! Would give 10 stars if that were an option!! Highly recommend!
Reminds me of Arthur Ave. Freshly made, nothing frozen here. Delish cavatelli with truffle oil, mushrooms and sausage and the pork chop with vinegar and peppers...mmmmm...if you haven't yet, it's worth a try.

I had a breaded veal dish with sauteed spinach and a delicious big potatoe croquette. Husband had pasta ragu. So delicious!

SnF wedge sandwich was the best sandwich I have EVER had. No joke. I wish I didn't live so far away, I would be a frequent visitor! Can't wait to come back!

We celebrated our son's 1st communion at Sunny And Frankie's yesterday. Excellence from start to finish. I can't say enough about how excellent our experience was. We will be patrons for a long time to come!

Food is absolutely delicious � Atmosphere is always warm,friendly and so much fun.....Angelo along with the rest of his staff make you feel not only at home but like family. Love it there!!! ���
Just go there and see for yourself it’s incredible! We drove by there for a couple of years and never stopped, sad part is that we lost 2 years of fine dinning. Thanks Kim and Corey

Great eggplant parm with shrimp. Cajun shrimp appetizer was really tasty!
Great food and atmosphere! Son and father duo in the kitchen and great front of the house...make you feel like family! Oh and great music!
Not sure how I never tried this place out in the past… really good, large portion, classic Italian food… highly recommend trying this place out.
Just finished the best steak dinner I've had in Stamford - delicious. Service was great and recommendations were spot on.
Family friendly neighborhood restaurant with delicious food at great prices and superb service. They were a God send during the height of the pandemic with a small but perfect to go menu that changed daily but prices remained at $12. Looking forward to my next memorable dinner there soon! Keep up the good work. My only request is to please put the tables back outside.

Used them for takeout dinners at the height of covid..good..
During this pandemic, we have been doing Sunny and Frankies 1 to 2 times every week with Curbside Pickup. Every dish is fantastic. Again tonight I had the Chicken Parmigian with Spaghetti. What a nice piece of chicken cooked perfectly and moist. Their gravy is delicious.

Really great local spot. It's a small place with a warm welcoming feel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Try the burger! Also the meatballs are off the charts. They run a promotion on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, all menu items are 50% off.
We love this place!! We could almost just live off the bread and sauce alone, but then we’d miss all the other wonderful food!
You’ve GOT to try their shrimp...!
You get a warm welcome, just like you’ve been coming for years, and feel very comfortable in their capable hands.
Nothing hidden - you can see right in to the kitchen and the chef comes out personally to check on everything.
Very, very highly recommended - if you like food prepared by people who are passionate about quality, taste and superb presentation.
