Stumbled on this place last night and sure glad I did. Had the rib eye steak with extra onions. Surprisingly thick cut and generous portion. Delicious. And the beans and rice were freshly prepared. Tried to order flan for dessert but the owner said it's so popular that sometimes they run out near closing. Next time!
Can't Be Beat. My family has been going here since it opened (20 years ago?). The food is great, all the chips & salsa you want. My children have to go to El Torero when they come to town. We see the same people over and over - a sure sign of a great place to eat. Very little staff turnover, another good sign.
GREAT FOOD!!!. This place has awesome chips and salsa. They always have the best food and service that you could hope for. Try it out beccause you definitely won't be disappointed!
This used to a staple dinner for my family in the early 2000s and it still holds up ENTIRELY! I was a little worried since I hadn’t been since i was a kid in like 2006, but this was phenomenal. I had such a wonderful dinner tonight, very filling and reasonably priced. The service was also quick and great; everyone was so kind. I will definitely be back sometime soon!!
Excellent chips and salsa and for the price the portion of food was quite nice. Delicious would definitely recommend. Just the service seemed to be unorganized but everything else was on par.
I've been to 3 of the El torrero restaurant and the menu is constantly the same and excellent. They have healthier choices and their foods not all greasy the way many Mexican restaurants are. All of the dishes that I have experienced are very tasty.
Classic Tex mex Mexican food. Super fast service. Great chips and salsa. Plenty of delicious options for vegetarians. Weekly lunch favorite.
