We discovered this hidden gem 8 or so years ago when we stopped in for an ice cream. Their ice cream is excellent but we soon learned that they had an lobster roll that is arguably the best around. Admittedly, the “best lobster roll” is a hot button topic but what out family likes about this one is that it has a light seasoning with fresh herbs and green onions and of course, a buttered and grilled bun. If you like your roll with a mayo dressing, this may not satisfy you but the light touch was appreciated by our family. Their other sandwiches are also quite good if lobster rolls are not your thing. The smoked haddock sandwich received high marks from our group. Our trip to Stonington is not complete until we stop here!

Came for the lobster roll but ended up loving the smoked haddock sandwich even more! Everything was delicious. We also came back a second time and got the pork sandwich which was also incredible. We’ll definitely be back!

Great sandwiches - we had the haddock and the roast tenderloin. The sauce on the haddock is so ridiculously good that if you put it in a napkin, I’d eat the napkin! Friendly service and great ice cream, too.

This ice cream was a perfect afternoon snack, while waiting for Stonington restaurants to open. The blueberry ice cream was delicious! I loved being able to have local ingredients in the ice cream, and the Maine blueberries made it a bit tart (which I also loved).

This is my go-to place for take out lobster rolls. It's a very small walk-up shack with a few outdoor dining tables. They have a fairly exttensive ice cream menu. In addition to the lobster rolls they usually offer 3 sandwiches of the day.

Delicious lobster roll! Definitely one of the freshest I have eaten! Only complaint would be the bread was a little to soft and didn’t hold together and the lobster fell out but otherwise great!

Five stars for this life saver, bc, in case you don't know, no restaurant in Stonington is open on Mondays, except this place, which had lobster rolls and a smoked haddock sandwich. Considering the drive here from anywhere is half an hour at least, the presence of at least a single restaurant is vital.

Got the Deer Tracks ice cream, which was espresso coffee with fudge and chocolate candy bars... it was delicious. Not overwhelming with coffee flavor and not too sweet with all the added in chocolates.
