Recommended by a fellow at Simon's Winery. He was correct......this is a very nice place to eat out. My steak was incredibly tender as was wife's prime rib. The restaurant is right on Lake Michigan. My only critique......the beef could use more seasoning. .
We absolutely loved dining at Donny's Glidden Lodge. The food was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was great. Our waiter was very sweet and polite. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone on Door County.
Donny’s Glidden Lodge is one of my all-time favorites. Food is delish and the cozy atmosphere is unmatched. You can’t go wrong with a meal here. Call ahead for reservations so you get your pick of dining times :)

We have always had great food here! I had the Queen Cut Prime Rib tonight, and it was a very good quality cut of beef. Not all restaurants serve this kind of quality! Who ever is in charge of purchasing their food products knows what they are doing!!!
