We made reservations for two on a Saturday for dinner. It is a nice, quiet and relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the Lamb shank and my wife the Chicken parmesan. Both came with soup or salad, so one of us got a Cesar and the other a beer cheese soup. The soup was good the salad was a bit average. My lamb shank was very tender and had good flavor, the chicken paremesan was a little on the bland side. Average noodles, average breading, etc. The bread that comes with dinner was fine but again standard rolls instead of a nice crusty bread or selection of bakery breads. Service started out fine, but got a little slow as more patrons arrived. Our server made up for it with a free dessert, which was good and a nice gesture. All in all a good option and for reference we eat at a lot of Italian restaurants and have been to different parts of Italy.
We went for my husband's birthday dinner and it couldn't have been better! The food was amazing and the service was perfect. Rachael was attentive and friendly, and the drink special that night (Irish Maid)was refreshing. We prefer to eat early, so we got there right at 5 and were seated immediately
The place it’s nice and cozy , stuff very welcoming, the food amazing, we had 2 appetizers 3 bruschetta and tuna something , and for the main course, fillet and lobster with risotto, was amazing.
Old fashion good.
Rose wine good.
After all 9.5/10
The calamari diavolo was done to perfection. Just the right amount of heat in the sauce. Perfect texture for the calamari. The pumpkin cheesecake was creamy goodness to the last bite.
Incredible cuisine. My family came to celebrate my wife's birthday. We did not have a reservation but thankfully were seated upon entering and didn't have to wait. Our server was absolutely delightful and highly knowledgeable about the menu. She had given prompt service and we did not have to wait long for our drinks, salads, soups, and entrees. The fare was exquisite and each bite was satisfying. I am always happy to come here when I am in Door County. It's a must-have when you are in town. Great job all around!
Amazing as always!! This is our favorite place and shrimp scampi is our favorite meal ever!! We are always coming here on our day off from work and we are always leaving happy! The staff is very friendly and the service is excellent! 💯
Great spot for a romantic dinner. My wife and I are in town for our wedding anniversary. We love Italian food and searched Google for a place and found this. The reviews didn’t lie, Trattoria is fantastic. We started with the soft cheese plate. The goat cheese and pesto were perfect together. Great Caesar salad and pasta too. Well worth a stop!
Amazing food! Really good service! We ordered the pesto with goat cheese for an appetizer. Dinner was lamb shank, and chicken & spinach ravioli and then tiramasu for desert!!
Definitely take the time to come and enjoy some wonderful Italian food. Suggest coming early as no reservations and it fills up fast!.
Food, drinks, service were amazing. We waited 45 minutes for a table. Well worth it. Ravioli was wonderful. Duck in Madeira sauce was tender and flavorful. The Italian coffee was the equivalent of dessert. But we ordered dessert as well! A wonderful experience.
Just had dinner with my wife and three kids and they were very welcoming. The food was all very good and reasonably priced for a great experience. My 8 year old says to get the calamari. He claims there are brains in octopus tentacles. We definitely would come back again. 5 stars for sure!
Fresh food quality ingredients should be priced considerably higher for the quality. Entrees include soup or salad for $18 when I would expect to pay $30. Lasagna was fantastic with a fluffy light cheese finish that wasn’t too heavy. The ravioli …out of this world. You can tell the pasta is fresh. This restaurant deserves a higher rating but I’m guessing tourists aren’t looking for a quality restaurant when passing through so local pizza and dive bars trump this gem. Top notch. Cheesecake was not dense and not heavy, very well done. Tuna appetizer my favorite.

Had a really good dinner. The pasta was amazing and would love to come back. Get there early so you don’t have to wait on the waiting list. The brewery next door is good to check out too.
This was a wonderful nice Italian restaurant but with a relaxed atmosphere. (Aka jeans are OK) Since they don’t take reservations, we arrived right at 5pm when they open and they seated us right away.
We had a lovely Tre bruschetta appetizer. One was a bean mix, one an olive mix, and and eggplant one. They were all delicious. I had an Alfredo and a side of pesto shrimp. The pesto shrimp was delicious, perfectly cooked. The Alfredo was also wonderful, but a bit bland for me since I like spicy food. I added some freshly cracked pepper available at the table and it was perfect.
Completely impressed with our dinner and service last night! If there were more stars I would have selected them. Getting good service these days isn’t common place and Rachael and the woman filling our water glasses knocked it out of the park. We will undoubtedly be back, and hopefully soon!
Very accommodating on Labor Day weekend, was able to make a reservation for the same day. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. The beer cheese soup was a little odd with maybe ham chunks inside and the lamb was very good and cooked perfectly but very small portions. The cheese cake was delicious.
Excellent dinner for my family... Very high-end food done very well. Service was excellent - the waiter went over and above to be sure everything was explained well. Food was Very Good to Excellent depending on the Entree. Desserts were all excellent... Not really a place to take your young children unless they already know how to behave.
