I loved it!! Found it driving down route 58. One of my best friends had been checking out some land for almost 7 hrs in a light rain with a high of 36° all day. My buddy said how could we go wrong with George as the name of the restaurant. Since that's my name too!! We went in soaking wet and cold and were seated dang near instantly. We got a coke and a sweet tea. Oh and by the way our waitress was top notch wish I remembered her name. Pretty youn lady with a southern accent and southern charm to match!! We ordered cheese fries with bacon and they brought it out in a huge bowl with the cheese so thick it looked like a pizza was under there. I was happy as all getup. With condiments on the side. I then ordered a medium steak Georges special steak with more fries. Perfectly cooked and delicious. My friend ordered a rare cowboy burger with a special concoction he likes to make on the side. The waitress kept our soda and tea full and cold and genuine conversation throughout our meal. I recommend this to anyone who's passing by!! Thanks and Take Care!!

Found this place searching google for local restaurants in sussex. With all the good reviews my husband and i decided to give it a try. The food was mouthwatering delicious. The service and atmoshphere was amazing. Everyone is so friendly. The portion sizes are huge. Its a great place and we will definitely be going more often.
The calamari was incredible. The chop house steak salad is phenomenal....get the steak medium. Wonderful staff!!!!

Went this evening after reading the great reviews. 90% great experience. Food was wonderful. Service was a little slow, but it was a bit busy, but not that busy when we went in. My steak was cooked to perfection-between medium and medium well. My husband loved his fried flounder-again cooked to perfection. The bang bang shrimp-divine! The only issue I had, I asked if the salad was spring mix or iceberg. I was assured that it was spring mix. It was not. It was a mixture or both. I cannot eat iceberg. But, with Covid and all, I decided to let that small issue ride and just picked out the iceberg from the salad. We enjoyed our meal immensely and will be back, just not for the salad!
