A foodie friend introduced me to Fat Bao, and boy was I pleasantly surprised! The selection is plentiful without being overwhelming. You feel like you're being adventurous without going too far out on a limb. The service is insanely fast. We ordered, got our drinks and seasoned ourselves, and the food was out almost as soon as we sat down. The Fat Fries are incredibly decadent. The onion rings are good, but nothing special. We got a selection of Bao and shared - the bulgogi and pork belly are outstanding. The ramen was delicious, but they don't allow you to take it home - Fat Bao prides itself on their ramen, and only want you to experience it in its finest form. You can take any other leftovers however. I work in the same parking lot as this location, so I will definitely be back!
First time trying it and it was very tasteful , the baos are flavorful and esthetically pleasing... My only gripe is the price, it was about $20 a person and not very filling... But it is worth a try...
Delicious every time I go. I especially go back for the soft shell crab bao. Pure delight. The fried curried cauliflower is a great starter and the green tea ice cream bao will have you finish the meal in cool comfort. Highly recommend!
My first time at fat boa and I really enjoyed it. I loved the “chips”. It can be a bit pricey but I love New experiences and foods I’ve never tried. I would definitely recommend Fat Boa to others. ❤️
The prices are pretty expensive for the portions, but the food is actually really good! Both the baos and the fries are really tasty. And there’s free cucumber water. The restaurant is clean and modern and the service is quick and friendly.
It's a good place for comfort food, and I will definitely come back again! Good food, good service, and a good looking resturant! :)
**First Time Here!!** Good food. I love their desserts. They are a bit pricey, but the food is excellent. Service is speedy. By the time we sat down, our food was ready. I am pleased with my first visit. Can't wait to come back. P.S. Their bread is amazing.
Food mostly ok - would’ve been better if the bao was hot. Fries were delicious.
I started off with one bahn spicy Thai I believe, and then had the vegetarian ramen and added a piece of grilled chicken. Both were good as it already is, will be back again!
Love this lunch spot, they do an amazing tofu!
I get the tofu and have the bao fried and instead of spicy mayo put hoisin sauce 🤗😍
It's worth the money, but it certainly isn't cheap food. I love their take on bao "sandwiches" and today I tried the fat fries, which might be my favorite because of the epic fusion it provides! Everything is filling so you don't need too many items to get full!
I thought this place was great. Despite being a chain restaurant, the quality of their bao and ramen remains consistent and reliable. I haven’t had everything on their menu but haven’t been disappointed yet. I am very satisfied and will be returning regularly.
I’ve gone many times to the other Fat Bao location inside the loop, went to this one for the first time, and it seems to be very consistent with the other location. Good food, good service, no complaints.
Love the fat fries and the Memphis bao. Service is fast and the food is really tasty. Staff is friendly and its also nice clean.
Food is good, feels like comfort food which is great during raining days like today.
Nice staff, good food! The bao was yummy.
The portions are a little small, but the food was great (bao). Just make sure you double up and get some fat fries. If you are a hefty eater like me. Love the set up, and music was on point. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They sell a whole soft crab with an edible exoskeleton!!
Good and fast bao buns. Good variety. Good spot for a quick lunch, either sit down or pick-up.
