I was there on Tuesday afternoon, such a great ambiance! We got there early, our table was set up and our waiter was ready to take drinks orders. Lots of cocktail options, the best was their old fashion with smoke!! The service was great and the food was good. Wish there’s more food options! But overall good experience
Can't believe I haven't visited this place until today! Great old timey decor with great, knowledgeable service! Sunday all-day brunch gave us access to a pitcher of blackberry-basil mojitos served in an awesome pineapple gourd with a ladle. The doughnut trio and salmon platter were absolutely delicious. The smoked old fashion was also well done with great presentation. A little pricey but worth it on a night out. A great place to come if you're feeling classy or just want a huge selection of cocktails!
This is a cute hidden gem in Sugarland! The food was good and the drinks were decent. I went on a Friday for happy hour. I didn't to much like the music, however they said after 10p they play R&B and Hip Hop. Their djs also play vinyl records.
This place is awesome! With very good not so common drinks that are a must try you have to check this place out! The Sugar Refinery has great snacks and a really good stake night! They even have flights on the menu for you drinking pleasure haaa. Over all a great place to sit and catch up with friends. The bar tenders are very nice and super knowledgeable. They ask the wright questions to get into your brain and serve you just what you never knew you were looking for. I will be a long time guest of this place! The smoked old fashioned was very delicious.
Lovely dinner at The Sugar Refinery. I had a party or four and all are meals very very good. Staff was was friendly and pleasant. The couch area was fun. The location is set up more for a bar but the meal was good. We have the cobbler and bread pudding for desert. Awesome.
A great place to hang out for some food and drinks. We were here for lunch on a weekend, the place was a bit slow. Nevertheless, food and service was great! Would definitely go back for dinner here.
Really cool spot. Just stopped by for drinks. Their house cocktails were great. They even made my personal favorite, a NY Sour.
Great place, the dance floor is ridiculously tiny and like most bars the music is loud and out of touch. But hey, great drinks and food!
Quickly becoming a fave! Great selection of drinks, great live DJ on weekends that seems to watch and adjust the music to the crowd with every choice. And absolutely the best chicken wings I have had every single time.
Bartenders are "on it" knowing all the selections and ready for a challenge.
Always a good mix in the crowds, comfortable but nice feel, and that great music to drive things (without being overwhelming).
This place is pretty awesome. The drinks are fantastic and the beer selection is good. The food is great but for the money the portions are a bit small. Maybe I am just used to oversized fat people portions... Maybe other places should follow suit. All I know is after a couple smoked old fashioned cocktails, I wanted my bucket of gravy on my 2" thick steak, not a couple mushrooms in a steak cut for jerky.... Tasted great though....

Do not miss this almost hidden gem. It's at the very end almost of the strip of stores and restaurants and is easily overlooked. We've been here several times and it's consistently great. The menu is not large, but they usually have a couple of specials. The sides are huge so you only need to order one for two people. The appetizers are big enough to make a meal by themselves (don't miss the BBQ ribs). It's never been packed crowded, even at their most busy time, so we love that we can get seated when there would be a long wait at other restaurants at Sugar Land Town Square. The other outstanding thing we have come to realize is their stable wait staff; we've only ever been served by the same two waiters. That is most unusual for the genre. Prices are $$$, but the food and service are worth it. Their steaks (only two or three on the menu) are $$$$, and we have never ordered one (I can do better at home), but it's not an issue because their other dishes are so great (and consistent). I don't eat steak at restaurants since most can do fresh seafood so much better than I can at home, but I have no doubt their steaks would be very good (I have seen them at other tables, and have been tempted). The bar has a huge number of seats, and it seems to be a big thing here, so even single diners can enjoy a great meal here.
Had dinner with friends during their soft open. Most items were on the menu. We had the lamb shepherds pie, pork belly sliders and chicken pot pie. All three were excellent! Great flavor and very filling. Cocktails were also very good. The decor is very cool too. They did a good job giving it that speekeasy feel. Staff was very friendly and the service was good. They are still working through a few as they are still in their soft open phase, but none of that had an impact on our experience. Definitely worth try and we will be back!!
This place was kinda hard to find, honestly. However, they've got some good happy hour specials so it's worth the trouble the first time around! Their beer selection is pretty decent, and from what I heard from my friends, their cocktails were good, too. The ambiance here is very relaxed, so it's a great place to hang out with friends.
Some co workers and I went on Thursday for their All Star customer appreciation happy hour and I felt really appreciated. We have a great time every time we go there. Their drinks are good and strong the way I like it and hip hop night Saturday is fun.
This past time was my second time here. Service was great. Our waiter had great recommendations and was there whenever we needed even though we were kind of hidden in the back. The food is delicious pub style food with varied choices. Their cocktail menu is also awesome. Both visits here, I've loved the food and drinks I've ordered. The atmosphere is relaxing and design of the place is clean and stylish.
My wife and I loved this place when it first opened - great food, nice cocktails - the wine list is a bit strange. Nice Happy Hour - food choices were great. On our last visit, the service seemed to slip - quite honestly, my wife and I were disappointed. The bartender 'vaped' while handing us our check. Will return, just going to explore other options first!
Come here for steak and pint night Tuesdays. $15 for salad, steak and potatoes with a pint!! It's an excellent deal. This bar has a cool ambience with wood paneling and leather couches. The staff is friendly and attentive. They also have an amazing cocktail menu if beer isn't your preference. There is also a small outdoor patio perfect for cooler fall evenings. I am definitely going to come back!
The atmosphere in this place is welcoming. I have to give four stars because I believe the dance floor in the corner subtracts from the overall ambiance in the establishment.
I cannot recommend their Smoky Old Fashion, enough! You won't regret it!
