It feels like a home away from home where the people are welcoming and act like family even when you're a newby. The food is great, drinks are cold, and the atmosphere is fun!

Kind of a small, hidden gem. They have a good menu and we had delicious salads that were very reasonably priced. We went to see a concert there and the sound was great and the stage was surprisingly large; there was also a small dance floor. The wait staff were outstanding. Bathroom was exceptionally nice and clean. We had a great time and will return.
I've been here a few times and I've had excellent customer service. The live music is always a good selection (mostly country) and drink specials are decent (I am spoiled to Huntsville drink specials). The bar is never crowded so you don't need to yell to make conversation with friends. TVs show all kinds of sports and waitresses will gladly change to a sports game of your liking (I once walked in hoping to see the Rockets game and it wasn't on. however, after I asked the waitress she immediately changed the channel for me). Owner is very nice and host a lot of events such as golf. Location is in the middle of nowhere but that's what makes this bar a best kept secret.
The owner is a sold man that understands how to run a business the right way. A place can only be as good as the owner and this place is awesome. They have killer food, and the bartenders are on point. It is very clean and very roomy, Come check out Steel Country next time and you won't be disappointed.

The closest thing to the 'Cheers' bar from the TV series, in Sugar Land. If you are a regular your preferred libation will be on the bar by the time you sit down. A really good kitchen with fast service and some of the best bar food I've ever had. Really good bar staff, that go the extra mile, even driving regulars home occasionally. A biker bar when I first started coming in 2000, but VERY far from that now under new management. No smoking inside since 2016, but forward thinking enough to allow vaping. A great group of regulars in the afternoon, with a younger party crowd showing up after 5pm. Live entertainment most weekends, and community charity events held throughout the year. A place that you can be glad that it is in your neighborhood.
We had a blast here! Great drinks, reasonably priced. Bartender was cool!! Will definitely be back. Very low-key, cool place to just hang out and grab a drink.

We are long time Sugar Land residents, and have seen Churchhills through different owners/management. Our recent trip would have been one of our best yet, waitress was new but Amazing, crawfish was tastey, drinks were great--unfortunately we asked our waitress how many pounds were in the first batch she brought out....just in terms of keeping track NOT questioning the quantity...
This waitress was good and clearly understood what we were asking, however clearly the guy she went to ask did not, nor did he bother to come out with a customer service attitude. This guy comes out to our table with a bucket and a scale---YES, BROUGHT A SCALE--
He proceeded to question us on "what the issue was", we were explaining that we simply want to know how many lbs it was based on what we had ordered. He was not hearing it and said multiple times in an unfriendly, unprofessional tone that he could weigh it for us. We all continued to say that was not necessary we just were inaware and the waitress was unsure. This was handled very unprofessionally, and we were stunned at the whole encounter; only to find--He was the current owner...sad, sad, news for us and our friends who are regulars here.
Too bad they can't post when he'll be there with the entertainment schedule so we cam be sure to completely enjoy our visits.
Food.Is.Delish. You may enjoy just your regular bar food....... pub chips, fried pickles, onion rings, and wings BUT this place really does have the best burgers, sandwiches, and a steak night that hits the spot EVERY. TIME.

Great venue for live music, drinks, and food. The service I had was good...much better than most of the live-music dives I've been to where they don't even have servers and you have to get your own drinks at the bar.
Good neighborhood bar. Lots of TVs with sports on, solid pub grub, full bar with a few craft beers on tap and in the bottle. Live music on the weekends of varying styles and quality.
This place is awesome. Food is delicious and appetizing. The Phily Cheese Steak gets 2 thumbs up. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Try them you'll love em.
Pleasantly surprised. Sometimes the difference between a good watering spot and a bad one can be in the service. This is a plus here. Great service, fast on the drinks, remembers your name, and the price is right.
