The real deal. Use the non-americanized menu. Very good crab / asparagus soup. Good gai lan.
First time. I was in the Sugarland area today so I looked on Urbanspoon for a Chinese restaurant around the area and I picked this one because it was the only one that I saw that had Dim Sum.
Waiting was alright there might have been some issues with her understanding what we wanted to order, my friend wanted to order fried wontons and our waitress told us that they didnt have any so my friend asked for hot and sour soup instead. When we were waiting for our food to come out, by to our surprise, our waitress brought out fried wontons! We were surprised because she told us that they didnt have any. We were excited and each of us took a bite of it. In mid chew, we all looked at each other and said... "Is yours cold in the middle?" More like almost frozen. We told them about it and they took it back and made a new batch. So, in the end we end up getting our fried wontons, haha. That was the only thing that was bad.
Servings are HUGE for the price, we couldnt finish anything that we ordered.
The dim sum was very good, it was fresh and full of flavor.
I will totally come to this place again.
Nothing wrong with a little misunderstanding and they also corrected their mistake on the wontons. : )
I come here once or twice a month for dim sum with the family. The food is outstanding. The stir fried noodles with beef is always a great choice. The eggplant with shrimp has a generous amount of shrimp in each bite.
My favorite dish is the salt and pepper tofu. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It comes with sliced jalapeños and fried garlic.
For four adults and two kids, the total was less than $75.
Lunch late birthday treat from my mom. Food was good and service was not disappointing at all.
Got their dim sum, which tastes delightful and is incredibly fresh! However, everything is a bit on the greasy side. On a weekday, they were terribly understaffed, but the food was good.
Had the Pad Kee Mao for lunch. Huge, awesome rice noodles in this dish. Came with salad and an egg roll for a very good price! Also very tasty. Definitely worth checking out the lunch combos here, great food and not too much $$.
Had dinner here recently. Good service, decent food for the price & good ambiance. Our server told us he is a famous rapper on TikTok!
The lobster was a little bland but they fixed it for us by adding more sauce and ginger. Loved the seafood dumplings and corn soup. If you don’t like to wait, this is the right place. Seated quickly and meal was served in no time!
Absolutely loved my dining experience at this Cantonese restaurant! The ambiance was delightful, and the staff was attentive and friendly. The food was a culinary delight, with a wide variety of authentic dishes that burst with flavors. From the succulent dim sum to the mouthwatering roasted meats, every dish was a treat for the taste buds. I highly recommend trying their signature dishes and don't miss out on the delectable desserts.
My parents and I eat there frequently for lunch for nice selections and great price.
We had our celebration for our parents 60th wedding anniversary with their dinner banquet menu for 12 people per table for 2 tables.
They were very busy that night and still provided us great service and food that everyone really enjoyed it.
This is definitely our go-to Asian restaurant in Sugarland if we don't want to drive to Bellaire.
Great authentic food!
Order dim sum on a paper form. I enjoyed the lava sesame balls. Haven’t seen this offering anywhere else before.
Prob avoid the bathrooms if you can.
I had a last minute cravings for dim sum before work so did a quick turn and came here. The last time I was here was over a year ago and didn’t have a very pleasant experience ordering to go. Gave it another shot and was not disappointed.
The gentleman helping me place my order was very helpful with the menu. I was kind of in a rush and was looking for a specific type of Noods and he literally knew what I was asking for! Orders 2 shy maid, 2 har gow, 1 chicken feet and an order to stir fried Noods. This time around the wait time for food was slightly longer than last but at least I got everything I needed without the attitude. Food took about 25 mins, quite long but I guess they got somewhat busy for the morning. The gentleman was super friendly and nice! Even gave me menus to take with just in case I wanted to order before coming in. Also packed extra sate (chili paste in oils) for me and included chopsticks this time! Whooo great service finally!
Food was good. Well atleast for Sugarland’s standards. Har gow was huge! Super plump! shu mais were good but not the best. Chicken feet was kind of lack luster this time. Too chewy. Probably needed to be steamed a little bit more. But I really enjoyed my stir fried Noods. I was craving it and this hits the spot for me. Overall, food and service were both good!
I was recommendedJade- garden by my friends who told me that it is an authentic Chinese
restaurant specializing in southern Chinese cuisine, particularly Hong Kong and Cantonese
dishes. The food is beyond exceptional. From the delicate dim sum to the mouthwatering rice
noodle, each bite is a delight.
It’s my first time there and I’m loving all the dishes we ordered. Quality of the food are great, we
will definitely come back again.
Best dim sum in Houston! The dim-sum are huge and tasty. The shrimp in the chang fun are
also large and the texture is very nice!
Awesome "AUTHENTIC" Chinese food prepared perfectly! I had the fried lobster and it was simply sublime and the prices are great! You will NOT be disappointed unless you are looking for Chinese Fast Food! Great food here! ✌🏾👍🏾
The food is okay—Chinatown is more worth it. The restaurant and service seemed decent. I came here for a large family dinner and we had two tables that each got a party pack. The Peking duck didn’t have much baos. Our table of 8 each only had 1 bao and ran out of baos with plenty of duck left.
The Siew Mai is great!! Other good as well but didn't take photos.
I ordered on doordash but for whatever reason Doordarshan messed it up and the restaurant didn't get my order. The restaurant was great to take my order immediately and prioritize it, I waited there for less than ten minutes. Wonderful!
