The food was awesome and tasty! We ordered WAY too much food but had excellent left-overs for breakfast the next day :-)
I am not sure why the other reviews are so low, but I love this place. Their samosa chaat and masala dosa are always fresh and tasty. My family and I come here at least once a week for the last few months. The only problem I really have is that the dosa is super oil and is not filled for the amount of paper and size of dosa. Other than that the staff is friendly, it's in a great location, and the prices are reasonable.
I wanted to try something new and exciting and Chowpatty Chaat was the perfect place to go/ The people there are nice, the atmosphere is calm and peaceful, and the food is fantastic! They got new management and the food is amazing and so tastey! I definitely recommend the ragda and pav bhaji, tastes just like ragdas in Mumbai! My family loved everything we ordered. The interior decoration is very creative and the place was very clean. Waiting time is also short and the service was great. I plan to return to this place time after time again and tell my friends about it.
The food and presentation was good. I've never been and didn't know what to expect. It's a small business which I try support as much as I can. Based on my first experience, I will certainly go back when I'm in the mood for masala dhosa.
Tried this place couple of weeks back. Ordered pakoras (fried dumplings), bhel puri and chai. Portions were huge, easily for two - justifying the sticker shock. Boss, who works in the kitchen was nice enough to serve us pakoras which was our request that was not in the menu. He checked on us, which was nice. Chai was good. The service was nice too. Will go there again, though it's pricey.
I am delighted to have stopped here for dinner and you can bet we will be back!

Very good Indian restaurant! Interesting space, a little over the top. Excellent place to sit down or take out. Try the fried baby corn and hakka noodles. Interesting.
Had pau bhai, chai, paratha and Dabeli for breakfast. It was good stuff!!
Excellent chat stuff. Almost everything on the menu is worth a shot. Nice interior decor with all movies' posters. Could improve his ordering process but food is worth the wait.
Pani Puri was not all that. We did love the dahi puri and sev puri were spot on! Prices are average compared to other places. Will definitely try again!

I went to this place in sugar land and met “ parantap panoya “ he greeted us nicely and then had a great talk with “Santosh purohit “ with her real life experiences honestly I have been wanting to eat pani puri for a long time and when I tasted their pani puri I was like it almost tastes like I was in India again it brings back the same taste if you live in sugar land you are very lucky don’t leave sugar land without trying it 😀
It's a good place to go on late afternoons but except a lil rush on days like Thursdays or Saturdays when they have their special offers. And ask Santosh ma'am to make the chat, she's awesome!
The food is pretty reasonable for the prices they have and accurately represent Indian food. They are purely vegetarian and have a plentiful amount of options to pick from!
