Food tasted better than Hibiscus NY, flavorful and tasty nice assortment of cold westindian beverages. The staff was very friendly this place made me feel like a Sunday back in NY
Five stars all around for this great establishment! Walked in and was greeted in less than five minutes after sitting down. Great drink deals. The food, wow. Came hungry, left happy. The music was great. Really enjoyed watching people dance to the Chunes(Tunes in West Indian Creolese) and I cannot wait to be at The Hibiscus again!
Great place to enjoy delicious food! Their menu is very full of different and amazing choices! They also have a bar so you can order your favorite drinks while enjoying your meal. Highly recommended! The food tasted fresh and delicious, the red pork meat was delicious!!!
Guyana Day USA, Inc- NY Chapter team visiting Florida and dinned at the Hibiscus Restaurant. The food was exceptional; service was equally great. The atmosphere was very inviting, and the ambiance superb. Staff were friendly. The owner Tim was warm and courtesy. We highly recommend Hibiscus Florida. Oh, the music was tantalizing.
Coworker suggested we try this place to break the monotony of places we keep going to. I ordered chicken in the ruff. First off upon picking up my order the food looked well portioned and good. The fried rice had flavor and I really didn't need to drawn this meal in sauce, although they gave 2 little packets of soy and duck sauce for 2 different meals?? Chicken was well cooked, I was not a fan of the cut though. I will be back so I'll ask for it to be cooked well. The skin was on the soggy side.
Enjoyed our dining at Hibiscus. This was our first visit. The food was tasty, the service was great, would certainly go back and surely recommend.
Waited long just to order my food / drinks. Waited long just for drinks and food to come. The waiter / customer service was not knowledgeable of food and didn't care to take care of me. Waited long to get condiments. Customer Service was not great at all, but the food was good.
The food is the best! I always go there on my visit to Florida from Connecticut for carribbean food.Service is excellent. And the people is delightful.I am a fan of Hibiscus at their old residence and present now. Will continue supporting Hibiscus.Thank You .Ruth
Great Guyanese stlye dishes, including Gt Chinese food and a well stocked bar. I had the Duck curry, and it was delicious to the bone. I definitely recommend Hibiscus for that authentic Guyanese food and experience.
Well designed, low key restaurant and the food and service are good. Seems to be like a “cheers” atmosphere with loud regulars playing dominoes & slamming them loudly on tables.
I’m hopeful this doesn’t occur all the time, but it shouldn’t occur at any time for an establishment open to anyone (I was visiting from another state and didn’t appreciate these antics alongside my dinner). I will rethink dining in next time.
The atmosphere is good but noisy. Overall it's a wonderful place. Food and service is good. Too far from where I live.
Great vibes, great food, and great drinks! What more is there to say. I went in with a friend unsure of what to expect and it was a great experience. Letting all my friends know, don’t hesitate to check them out. Order the chicken lo mein!
Excellent food and service. Only missing cucumber on the fried rice like we get it in Guyana and the menu shows it on it.
