We made a last minute reservation here on a Friday night. As the place filled up, we felt lucky to have been able to get a table. The server was attentive, friendly and even played with our baby. Sake selection was good. Gyoza was very tasty. Sushi platter was fresh, well prepared and unique. Our server recommended a few rolls and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Mochi was fresh and perfectly frozen. They also do to go, which was also slammed. We enjoyed our meal and will be back!
Some of the best sushi I have had in a long time. Really loved the spot and really the only good Asian food option in the area. This is great and. Just have when visiting the beach here.
We were in the area, I’ve seen this place multiple times and I’ve never been here. I’m fact we stopped at the cafe shop across the street earlier and I mentioned we needed to visit Bamboo Asian House. We were still around for dinner so we gave them a visit. The place was beautiful, we sat outside. Jason took care of us and he was great. The food was really good. My wife ordered the hibachi scallops and they were amazing. All the sushi was fresh and very tasty. This is definitely a place to visit if you like sushi and hibachi.
Excellent sushi and entrees. We’ve eaten here twice and everything has been delicious. The staff is super friendly too. I prefer the outdoor seating as the indoor seating can be a bit crowded if you are at a table.
Bamboo is a hidden treasure at the beach. Been going here for several years and here is why. 1. Their food is consistent and excellent. They have good quality control and I've never had any complaint with the food prep. The sushi always comes out looking elegant and artistic. My favorite dishes taste the same every time. They never mess up a special order. They pay attention to detail. 2. The people are outstanding. The owner, Kitty, managers like Michael, and friendly wait staff like Cindy are part of why I'm a regular. 3. Lunch prices are a bargain. If you order off the lunch menu between 11am-3pm on weekdays, you can get the same outstanding food for a discounted price. They do have a sushi lunch special, but the fancy rolls are always the same price. 4. We've brought visitors who are Japanese nationals and they have raved about this unpretentious local place.
Great sit-down place. Fantastic food and service always! Sushi is prepared eloquently and is fresh and tasty. Offers Japanese beer and Saki. Hibachi and hot dishes are also a delightful treat if not in the mood for sushi. I enjoy this place often.
YUMMMM! Worked a long physical day, and we were hungry. We certainly weren't dressed for this place, but they were still really friendly. This restaurant is excellent. Our waitress was the sweetest, but I can't remember her name... The jasmine green tea is legit. I started with the clear soup and it's hands down the best I've had. The chicken hibachi was excellent, maybe a little heavy on the zucchini, but I like zucchini, so it was good. My brother had the steak hibachi. He actually ate his whole plate. I was famished and still took a good lunch portion home. The ambiance is really pleasant and would be a great place for a date night as well. I highly recommend this restaurant. I can't wait to go back and try more things.
Food was great, service beyond amazing. A true Japanese experience. Jason was our server and he went above and beyond. Fantabulous. Two thumbs up.

This is a definitely a place that I have driven by several times and was curious about what their food was like. I was surely not disappointed!!! I got the seat away from everybody else and enjoy my meal in peace. My server Cindy was awesome!!!! She gave me such a great recommendation of what to eat since I was having a hard time deciding between one dish or another! This restaurant is small and dim lit but perfect for the occasion of eating with family or just by yourself if you've got nobody to dine with. I ordered two California roll, the eel cucumber roll, the Ika salad and miso soup and still feel as if I could eat more!! I will say I consider this to be one of the best sushi places I have been to in North Carolina!!! I am a sushi fanatic and have been to almost every place so far and I highly recommend trying this place out!!!!
Highly recommended! I lived in Japan and this is hands down the closest in taste to the real deal. I was absolutely happy with our dinner, customer service, EVERYTHING! Definitely one of my top Japanese restaurants in NC. Fantastic, 10/10 I will recommend this place to everyone that wants authentic Japanese cuisine. 👏🏻
Really great Lunch Date! Had been wanting to visit but kept putting it off! Oh my why! It was worth the wait!! I rate this 10/10! So many selections to choose. This place is so cute and cozy! The atmosphere was very chill and relaxing. The server was very nice and put us on to the YUMM YUMM ROLLS

This sushi gem was recommended by friends and oh wow I can confidently say it's one of the top sushi restaurants I've eaten at in the last few years. It has a cute cozy vibe. Our server Cindy was so bubbly and sweet. Every worker had a smile on their faces. When I tried my miso soup i instantly knew this place was something else. Delicious flavors. Huge sushi rolls. And priced were reasonable. I loved everything about my experience here. We made a reservation and I think thats the only thing I would suggest doing bc the place gets very busy.
Our server was so incredibly helpful as we navigated the menu. Awesome specials and the first time I've ever seen a vegetarian sushi sampler. The house salad dressing is homemade and topnotch.
My server Jason was AMAZING! I was seated at the sushi bar because I was alone. He was very attentive and helpful. The chicken lettuce wraps were delicious. My vegetable hibachi was a bit overcooked but still very good. I would highly recommend. I am traveling for work but when I’m back in 6 months I’ll stop by again for dinner.

Took the family out for my wife's birthday. The food appearance is spectacular when it arrives at your table and the taste is even better. The waitress was cheerful and nice to speak with and knowledgeable about the food items. Highly recommend
Anything you order here is excellent. We had a party of 6, and everyone got something different, and everyone fully enjoyed what they ate.

This was my first time here. I've heard from lots of people that this place was good, but I never made time to go. It was my daughter's birthday and she always gets to pick the restaurant and she chose the Bamboo Asian House. I invited my BFF to come meet us there. She loves this place. I told everyone to help me pick out a good dish. When our meals finally came i tried a little bit of everyone's dish. OMG!!! That is what I had to say about EVERY bite I took. Why did I wait so long to try this place?? I was a fool. The dishes were beautiful on the plates and tasted even better! I took a picture of everyone's meal! I put up a big huge post on FB all about it! If you like Asian food, even just a little bit, this place is a MUST! My long time childhood friend is coming in 2 weeks. I've already told her we are going. I have another life long friend hopefully coming in January and I told her we were going! I strongly recommend this place. It is small on the inside, but don't let that fool you. The food is ☆☆☆☆☆!!
Friends and I had a fantastic time here at Bamboo Asian House. We went for sushi and sake, and were not disappointed. Their special and standard rolls were tasty, and the presentation was artful when we ordered several. The staff was friendly and the space was cozy. I’ll definitely go back
The place is clean, nice Japanese decor, the staff is super friendly, the sushi bar is great, fast service, shout out to Cindy!!! the portions are generous and the beer is cold.
