I recently dined at La Parada Latina Restaurant. A Dominican restaurant in the Pocono's area, and it was a delightful experience. The menu featured a variety of delicious dishes, including their fantastic goat stew, flavorful carne guisada, and a satisfying bistec encebollado.
Their rice and beans or arroz con gandules can be combined with any dish to make your Dominican experience complete. Top your meal off with a delicious tres leches cake for dessert.
The convenience of free parking, along with the attentive and friendly service, added to the overall positive impression. What impressed me even more was their reasonable prices, making it a great value for the quality of food and service.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area and looking for a wonderful place to enjoy a delicious Dominican meal at a family owned restaurant.
Stop her while I was at Great wolf lodge. I don’t like spending money at resorts. They’re way too expensive. I like to spend locally and support the locals. I got some rice and beans. I would definitely go back. Parking is kinda tough but they get you in and out fast.
The food here was extremely tasty, my family and I got the bed beef stew the pernil and the pepper steak with rice & beans with a side of potato salad and plantains everything was spot on tasted really good reminded me of Brooklyn. Also it was super refreshing to find good food in this area. Also the staff (more like family) is very welcoming upon arrival he greeted us and offered to show us everything they had to offer. Highly recommend and will be going back.
This place is soo good, The best tasting Dominican/Spanish food I’ve ever had! I would definitely recommend the stewed chicken with rice and beans, j get it every time I go and it never disappoints😋 in the picture that’s the small plate for $10 which is a huge steal in my book! Can’t wait to go back ; )
Food is authentic, delicious. A variety of meat is amazing.( Ox tails is my favorite, rabo gisado)

Outstanding Domenican food in low-key, cozy, family-style atmosphere. The staff were humble and friendly. I particularly enjoyed the homemade beef empanadas. The chicharron and bistec encebollado were excellent. The tostone (fried plantains) were superb. Make sure to ask for vinegrette and "mayo/ketchup" sauce on the side. (They go with everything.) This place is a very good find.
During trip to Poconos , tired of eating just American food, found this amazing and affordable place with fresh and tasty Dominican food. I had the chivo and it was amazing.

Best food in the Poconos. Ask for the pollo asado or pepper stake. Those are my favorites. Sometimes the line of people is very long since the secret has come out.

Everything was delicious, big portions for low prices and the quality remains excellent. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this place.
Stop here after work often to grab a quick tasty and hearty meal. Service is great and accommodating even to non Spanish speakers. Food is great as well and very reasonably priced with a cash discount but do take cards. The parking lot is a little hard to navigate sometimes when people kinda park however they want but there is room in the parking lot next door if you don't mind the walk.
