We have been going there for dim sum since my daughter 8 yrs old and now she is 20. The staff are great and dim sum options are wonderful. Order shrimp balls, Chinese greens, Long Beach noodles, steam shrimp dumplings, beef chow fun, and Chinese pancake on Sundays between 11am - 2pm for dim sum. Take the family. You will not regret.

My wife and I love China Pavilion. It became our go to Chinese restaurant when we lived five minutes away, and has stayed that way even though our round trip is now closer to 40 minutes. The food has always been great, and everyone behind the counter is as kind as could be. I'm actually going to call in a pick up order right now!

This place is truly outstanding. I have only been for their Sunday Dim Sum but the dim sum is amazing and comparable to dim sum I’ve had in major cities. I personally recommend the shrimp balls, roasted duck, taro shrimp, tofu wraps, and Long Beach noodles. Service is excellent- the place is family run and the owners are very sweet. Overall this place is incredible and I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve had here!

This is one of those locally owned restaurants that doesn't taste like every other Chinese restaurants. If you appreciate fresh vegetables and actual meat and not fat in your meat dishes than this place is for you. I have never ordered anything close to bad off their menu: the chicken with garlic sauce is white meat, the general Tso's(or any variation of it) is always good, the egg rolls are hand made, and they do not over do it on the sauces. If you come around lunch time the buffet is always a good option. On the west side of town, this is the best Chinese restaurant.

Great restaurant, especially for those with gluten sensitivity/allergies. 95% of the menu can be made gluten free upon request, and the servers are knowledgeable and helpful with gluten problems. Tea comes with your meal; ours was a good oolong. Delicious food, clean location, and friendly, attentive servers. Highly recommend!

I've been a patron of China Pavilion for nearly 15 years, and for good reason. The food is consistently fresh, delicious and a cut above other Chinese restaurants in the Syracuse area. The owners and staff are very friendly and take great pride in providing an excellent experience for their customers!

So this is an American Chinese restaurant, BUT they have high quality service, and food. This is an actual sit down restaurant, and the staff actually waits on you. I highly recommend the Szechuan shredded beef, the fried wings, pork egg rolls, and their plain fried rice. Also chili oil is a must for dipping or smothering on the wings. I've been coming here since I was a kid and I have yet to be disappointed with the quality of food or the service. This isn't cookie cutter American Chinese. They put hard work and quality control into their product and it shows. Also they have dim sum on Sundays with tea; you might feel like your in Hong Kong if you close your eyes and imagine as you bite into a steam bun. Yes it's Americanized, but it has little things like duck, and dim sum to name a few that make it unique. So give it a try if you're in the area.

Very standard american Chinese restaurant, with some authentic choices. Everything we got was very good, well flavored, hot and served quickly. I will say my 5 stars is definitely for the crispy duck, it was juicy, tender and super crispy. Delicious! Will be back specifically for the bonesless duck!

Was extremely impressed with this place. The food is made fresh and comes out nice and hot. My first visit was with my friend who used to go here often years ago with her family. I was sick with a nasty cold and made sure to order the hot and sour soup with my meal. When we were finishing up our meal the owner stopped at our table and recognized my friend, even though she hasn't been there in years! I told her how much I loved the place and how it hit the spot when feeling sick. She asked if I got the hot and sour soup for my cold. I told her yes and that it was delicious. She brought me over an extra cup of soup to take home with me! We also raved about their tea and she made us another pot to enjoy before leaving. I was so beyond impressed with the food and the customer service. Since then we try to stop here for a meal whenever we can, and it never disappoints. I can see why they've been in business for so many years!

Probably the best Chinese food in the area (that I've found anyway)! They had the food prepared quickly and it tasted fantastic both times we went there! I would recommend the Mongolian Beef or chicken with string beans. I've heard the lemon chicken is also great, but it's not a dish I would typically eat, so I cannot say first hand. Keep up the great work, China Pavilion and staff!
