I was immediately impressed at how friendly the staff was! Very helpful! The food has been very good both times I was there! Sometimes too spicy for my palette but still very tasty! It's my new go to lunch place! All freshly made!!!
I love everything about Soup R Salads. The friendliest deli ever. But even if they were horrible people, their food is sooo delicious. Everything she makes is yummy. Clam chowder is the best I've ever had. Tomato soup, wedding, the coconut shrimp Omg!!!! Chicken n biscuits... southwest chicken salad, meatball sub, dill chicken salad (although I haven't seen that in a while, ( hint hint hint :) ). Even her egg salad is better than I can make. Why???? Its egg salad for crying out loud! Lol But Cher is amazing and her staff is too. LOVE this place and have never been disappointed.
I've been here twice in one week and my favorite was the mushroom soup. Buffalo chicken wrap was delicious, so was the chicken Cesar salad and the turkey sandwich! Ingredients are so fresh. Everything I had was fresh and delicious, including the carrot cupcake w/ cream cheese frosting.

Nice spot to grab lunch. I ordered the Chicken Caesar salad (added bacon). I wasn’t a fan of the dressing though, it tasted like just mayonnaise. But they have a variety of options (salads, soups, sandwiches) and I would return to try more. Friendly and quick service.
Being a Rochester native I had to try the garbage plate. I could have a few notes if I'm comparing it to a more traditional plate, but I love Soup R Salads and think they did a good take on it. I have loved all their specials over the 18+ months I've worked downtown.
Great family atmosphere, great home cooked food, great prices. This is where working professionals actually go out for lunch as opposed to the more pricy hipster places downtown. Try the taco salad
Food is fantastic! People are nice for the most part. I wouldn’t mind if they didn’t rush you so much but with the lines they have at lunch, I’m not sure they can.
I go here with coworkers regularly for lunch. It's good food fast. The ladies know what they're doing... You just better know what you want when it's your turn! I've never been disappointed trying anything new here. Something for everyone.
Big healthy quantities, great prices, amazing service. A big line that went quicker than I imagined and nothing was lacking.

I had an early morning and busy day planned today, and when I showed up quickly to grab a salad for lunch to have later, the team was awesome. They technically weren't serving lunch yet, which was my mistake for not noticing, but they jumped right on it and hooked me up anyway. This place is great!
The staff, the food, and the environment is all 10/10. The best cozy lunch spot in the city, hands down. The staff is like this awesome cast of characters that makes a fun experience while making you feeling right at home. Plus they work their tails off making excellent food and providing quick service. Love this place and I'm so glad it exists.
Great place to get lunch if you are in a hurry, I had soup and a sandwich and it was great.
