This is an amazing bake shop! The desserts are amazing- I personally love the snickerdoodle cookie sandwich. Come here for a true experience as the shop itself is a work of art. It is beautiful inside and a great place to treat yourself to dessert and a good cup of tea.
A lovely cafe! The space is cheery and welcoming. Everything we tried was delicious. The quiche is especially good. The sweets are well made and reasonably priced. I highly recommend The Sweet Praxis.

Lovely experience with their Irish tea. They do a monthly tea, so I highly recommend that. Great food, the staff was wonderful. Will definitely be back.

These women are awesome! We ordered a cake for our daughter's birthday, March 2017. Due to a snow storm, we couldn't get to Syracuse, but they offered to deliver it to her near SU while they were delivering another order. She was thrilled and so were we! "Going the extra mile" was such a welll appreciated gesture. We have spread the word about this great shop, staff and delicious gluten free cake. Thank you for making a very Happy 40th Birthday.
Had the soup of the day (Mushroom+Thyme). I wasn't sure if I'd like it but after my sample I knew it was going to be great. Delicious and hearty. Highly recommend! Great atmosphere too.

We went to The Sweet Praxis for lunch and vegan donuts today. Lunch was great but they only had 1 donut left. On our way out they surprised us with free mini donuts for driving all the way up there. Would definitely make the trip here again.

Love The Sweet Praxis!!! The Fireball Salted Caramel Pots de CrĆØme was the most delicious thing I have ever tasted!! The service was excellent and the atmosphere and decor are awesome.
We used our favorite local bakery for a completely gluten-free dessert spread for our wedding in August, and every dessert was amazing! Our guests loved the maple donuts in particular, and the wedding cake they did for us was spectacularly designed! Thank you for making our day even more special!
The place is super cute! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Gluten free options are phenomenal! I got the egg sandwich on a gf biscuit with spicy aioli and everything spice! š then almost all of the desserts for the week. š¤£ We will be back!
My absolute favorite bakery in Syracuse! Love, love, love their croissants! My favorite in this area for sure! They even take it a step further and make them into a breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon, cheddar cheese and spicy chipotle aioli! If you don't eat pork you can get seitan (vegan bacon) which was very good. They also have a vegan breakfast sandwich with tofu scramble, it's just as delicious as the 'regular' version. My fiance had a coffee with their house made salted caramel syrup, he loved it, I had an iced chai latte and it's one of my favorites in this area! As far as their desserts, they are just amazing. Mind blowing! I've only had a few things I didn't care for from there (everythings not for everybody) but the majority I have loved! My absolute favorite dessert I've ever had from there was a pistachio cream puff, it was perfect, I hope they bring it back next pistachio season!!

At our wedding, our photographer said that my expression upon seeing our dessert table was almost better than walking down the aisle! That should tell you something about The Sweet Praxis. I knew what Natalie created would be delicious and beautiful. But I was completely unprepared for the sight that was waiting for me at our reception! For a day that was quickly flying by, I spent far too long lingering at the table, trying to savor the sight of those artistic confections. I couldnāt believe how fortunate we were. Each one was beautiful in its own way ā the colors, textures, and flavors each expertly balanced. All decorated with delicate, elegant edible flowers! Quite literally one of the highlights of the whole day. Now, when the topic of the wedding resurfaces, it is often because people are reminiscing on those delectable treats. Natalie very kindly worked with us to incorporate our familyās traditions and preferences. She flawlessly brought our unique vision to life. I will never forget what she did for us, and only wish I could bottle up that experience and keep it forever!
I had their cookies at the state fair and couldnāt stop thinking about them. I am dairy free so finding safe but indulgent treats can be difficult. I am in Syracuse for the week and I knew I had to stop in, my trip did not disappoint! The vegan ābutterā croissant might be the best croissant Iāve ever had in my life, dairy or not. The vegan buckeye balls are the true epitome of indulgent. The oatmeal sandwich cookie was so soft and creamy. I am trying to pace myself but everything is so amazing. I will say.. I was disappointed they didnāt have their chocolate chip cookies in store, but everything else was so amazing it took the sting away. Coffee was spot on and their savory menu also looks amazing, although I didnāt try anything (this time). Consider me a customer for life!
The Sweet Praxis is our favorite bakery in Syracuse. We recently hired them to make the dessert for our wedding, and both the cake and our mini desserts came out beautifully! Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. Natalie, one of the owners, was super communicative and absolutely wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!!
I LOVE The Sweet Praxis all the time, but they were phenomenal for my wedding in 2020!
My husband and I wanted something a little non-traditional for our wedding, and Sweet Praxis worked with us to get the perfect desserts for our small ceremony/celebration. They made us a small, multi-tiered cookie cake (the first cookie cake they said they'd ever made), as well as an assortment of other cookies and cookie-wiches. Everything was perfect and delicious, and the whole process went smoothly. We also paid to have everything delivered and set-up, and it was beyond worth it.

The vegan breakfast sandwich was very good. We had ours on a croissant since they ran out of the normal bread. It was seasoned well and would recommend. We also got some pastries, excellent selection of vegan and gluten free options :)
The Sweet Praxis is a total vibe! I love the care and intention that this space has and it's a favorite for visitors and locals alike! You have to come in and enjoy the space. Oh. And get tempted by sweet, sweet sin itself, too š
One of our favorite spots in all of Syracuse, we love everything we try from The Sweet Praxis! Their croissants (both vegan and not) are incredible! We really enjoy their donuts, their cookie creations and how theyāre always doing something fun for every holiday. And WOW that passionfruit tart (pictured). They offer both vegan and non-vegan treats, so thereās something for everyone. Not to mention the staff and owners are extremely kind and always helpful. Canāt recommend Sweet Praxis enough!
