I love the saltine Warrior. Great sports bar for SU football games, SU basketball and NFL, UFC. NFL Sundays are a great time, beer and $1 Chicken wings!!! John is THE MAN! What a legend, love the guy

Was there Saturday afternoon and give it 5 stars. The one bartender and one cook were superstars taking care of a busy crowd. Amazing sauces on the wings!!
Best wings in all of upstate New York. Service was awesome! Super friendly bartenders and a great five. Wonderful selection of cocktails. Yes the pizza is really good as well. If you’re in Syracuse you have to stop here and eat and drink.
It does exactly what you want it to do. Semi dive bar feel,Good food, the drinks flow, great spot to watch games and the UFC..ya know...a sports bar lol

I will definitely say they did the best they could considering the crowd they had. The wait on drinks was slow but I would wait and only pay $8 for a 16oz beer than what taste of Syracuse was charging.
Had some wings, fries and a drink after work since I live above this bar and it was great! The bartender/waitress was really nice and everything was fresh. Thanks a bunch! Quick service for after work cravings.
One of the only places in the city to find draft tables. Large circular center bar with decent tap selection. Plenty of TVs for watching games. A little outside of Armory or Hanover, but worth the walk. Wings are good too. Owner is extremely nice and usually on premises.
Highly recommend! Small college town vibe with all the sports games playing live. My husband and I sat at the bar and our waitress/bar tender was excellent! The syracuse ale is both refreshing and pairs well with all the wings! Our wings were very good- we ordered hot bbq, bbq and asian, the ceasear salads were fresh and not your typical ceaser salad!

I travel for work and consider myself a good judge of wings. My favorite wings ever come from a place in Prescott AZ. Prescott Brewing Co. on whiskey row. The wings at Saltine Warrior come in a very close second. They are well cooked, very large, meaty wings that are extremely reasonably priced. I prefer fairly hot wing sauces, and especially hot BBQ sauce. I ordered a dozen of their Crazy Hot BBQ wings. They arrived smokin' hot, and very quickly. The quality of the wings combined with the superb sauce put them into my second favorite wings ever! Fantastic!

Never a cover for UFC PPV which is why I went! Most places in Syracuse don't have the PPV's nor ESPN+ to show UFC Fight Nights. Not sure if they show boxing PPV. I did see an advertisement poster for Furry vs Wielder 2. They didn't have a Bellator PPV the week before on DNZS. I tried the blackened chicken Philly wrap, wasn't bad, chicken was a little dry and overcooked, the grilled peppers and onions helped the dryness. Fry's were a generous portion, crispy and good. Lot's of Craft beers on tap but I was DD. I really wanted to try some of the brews I haven't seen before. Looks like a great bars to watch any 'Cuse game! Basketball, Football, Lacrosse "Duck Fuke!" Go Orange Men! Lot's of other college teams they show here too!
