This spot is a gem! My daughter and I had high tea this afternoon. What a lovely time we had! The delicious tea, fresh from the oven scones, and finger sandwiches were perfect! It’s a lovely place with charming table tops and decor. Plus live piano playing! Terry is a very special lady who treats her guests like family. As do the other staff! We were greeted with hugs and left with them as well! We will most definitely return!

You'll be greeted at the door with a warm welcome by staff who go above and beyond to ensure you are treated like their most important customer of the day. The tea selection is diverse and fresh. The food is great and presentation is just what you would expect from an upscale tea shop. The owner has managed to acquire quite a collection of antique period pieces that take you back in time to Victorian era and makes you want to linger in each unique room. I give it my highest praise.

After a wonderful movie at Tacoma’s Grand Cinema, my friends and I had lunch at the Olive Branch Cafe. I had been meaning to go there for a while, but the opportunity never came. I am so glad we finally made it there. From the moment you walk in you feel like you have stepped back in time.The tastefully placed period furniture and decor gives it a magical feel. The live piano music is wonderful in adding to the ambiance of this cafe/tearoom. From the moment you walk in you feel the love that was put into this place and the care you receive by the staff and the joyful way in which they serve their customers. The food was delicious and the portions are fantastic. I had the Pesto Grilled Chicken Sandwich and their delicious Smoked Salmon chowder, I highly recommend it! As we left we met Terry the owner, she exudes the same warmth and joy you feel when you walk into her shop. After hearing the history of the making of her shop, I came away thinking she is a Superwoman, who is visionary and hardworking at making her dreams come true and providing her guests with an experience they will never forget. I left there feeling and knowing I am now one of her friends! I will definitely return to the Olive Branch Cafe where the food is good and the service warm and friendly!

I told my best friend I have been dieing to visit a tea house. She suggested this one and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing. Fresh, warm, sweet and savory and the tea was SO good and there was such a great variety to choose from. The decor is INCREDIBLE in this cafe. We had trouble making a reservation ahead of time (lots of phone tag) but the cafe was kind enough to fit us in despite being busy in the kitchen. We did three mini tea parties and everything was brought to us in a reasonable time. The staff was all incredibly funny and sweet. Highly appreciated their upbeat attitudes. They even surprised me with birthday cake as it was my birthday! And the owner was so fun, she had me and my friends do some photoshoots in our lolita dresses and get ups around the cafe! Had a total blast! Thank you so much Olive Branch! I will be back much more in the future.

Best lunch in town...keep that mountain of pastrami on those Rubens....simply the best 😉

The drive from ocean shores was well worth it. The atmosphere was comfortable and charming, the team of servers were awesome, and the food was beyond wonderful. We will indeed be back. Save us a table, please.
