Moshi Moshi recently opened and are still getting their bearings. But when I went there, I had a top notch Tonkotsu Ramen (pork bone broth soup).
For all the diverse food options of Tacoma, one that I've felt was missing has been a good place for ramen. The price was reasonable and what I had expected. I liked the restaurant's clean dinning room and it had a fun mural at the back that added character to the modern interior
The noodles in the tonkatsu soaked in a lot of the broth's flavor with a smooth texture and complimenting taste. The broth itself, was one of the best I've had. It was rich, it was complex, and it was bold but not overpowering the ramen's other ingredients. My only wish, is that they add just a little more broth, only about a half cup, to enjoy sips between the noodles and pork. The pork, was high quality, a light sear on the sides, and so tender it melted in the mouth and released all the soaked in broth.
If you're looking for Ramen in Tacoma, Moshi Moshi is the place to go.
Also, this is just me, but I hope they put a sign on their door, because I passed by it like, twice.
Food was fast and fabulous, they have a great selection of tap beers, we tried two of the appetizers, one of the scewers, and we both had the spicy ramen. It was delicious and fabulous! Tacoma needed this. My husband and I travel to Las Vegas regularly and we normally always go to a place there called ramen ya. We just got back from Vegas and this time we didn’t make it to them to eat. So coming home and finding out about this place was awesome! Hit the spot!
Unique cocktails and fantastic ramen. Friendly staff and comfortable vibes
10/10 will be back again n again until I’ve had the whole menu. Don’t sleep on this spot
Very good food. We had Bacon and egg ramen, this was the crowd favorite. We also had a pork meatball, boa and karage. Service was friendly. Moshi Moshi oshii
Great food, great drinks. We tried small plates (cauliflower especially good), the waygu skewer (excellent), Drinks (margarita very food) and ramen (two types, both excellent) —— everything was GREAT and we will be back!
First off I’d like to say the waitress and environment was very professional and warm, all the tables had their own Japanese comic pages like Sailor moon, Naruto and Dragon ball Z. The food was a 10/10 I loved the hearty and savory broth in the Miso. Thank you 🍥🍜
I always feel so welcomed here and meet incredible people, whether that be the staff or the customers Moshi Moshi attracts. The food is top notch, the drinks are superb, the music is bumpin, and I always want to stay as long as possible. There are also a few great vegan go-to items, and I greatly appreciate that.
The food here is just SO fabulous. I cannot recommend this place enough!
The food and atmosphere was superb. It came highly recommended and I see why. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had the JFC and it was delicious. The Spam musubi was excellent as were the pork boiled dumplings. Our table also ordered the Shio, spectacular! I will certainly be returning.
We did delivery through doordash. I called for a recommendation and the girl on the phone was fantastic and knowledgeable.
I am a harsh critic on taste and this isn't my first round with Ramen... My only gripe is that I didn't have more friends present and ordering to enjoy this with us because I know they would have loved it too.
This is fantastic. Equal to if not far ahead than the best in the area with unique offerings not many of the others have.
I went light and got the Build your own Shio (Chicken Broth) with Thick Noodles, Chicken, and Onsen Tomago (one of the egg options)
My accomplices had Tonton with Spicy Chicken or something? The 3 of us absolutely loved it. EXACTLY the experience we were hoping for, and better than what we thought we'd get.
I will order again soon.
Here's two pictures, with and without flash. The Broth came in a plastic container with the rest of the ingredients separated in a box. They know what they're doing!
Moshi Moshi is hands down our favorite restaurant in Tacoma! The staff is super friendly and the food is absolutely amazing. Always. Best dishes include the Impossibao with taro chips, JFC (chicken), and the green curry ramen. You should also try their tangy mango lemonade. Tonight dinner and service were superb!! Shout out to Alân, Lane and Riley!
Food was an absolute 5 stars! The pork dumplings were outstanding and we really loved the tonkatsu and the dan dan noodles. Highly recommended for the food. Docked one star for service (we had to ask several times for a water fill) and also because the music is just too loud.
My favorite restaurant. I only wish they were open 7 days a week so I could eat there even more! If you like spicy, try the Tan Tan.
