We placed an order with uber eats. Our food was packaged to stay warm and with almost an hour delivery time, it definitely did its job. Food arrived hot. Everything was sooo flavorful. Large portions, it was like Thanksgiving day. So yummy. Will absolutely be ordering here again in the future.
Overall, our order was very good with my highlights being the yams, home fries, red velvet cake, and the soft shell crabs. The stuff shrimp was flavorful, as was the mac & cheese. The only con was the calamari, which was fried a little too hard for my taste.
My partner and I were craving soul food. He ordered the chicken tenders and waffles and I got the fried wings and waffles, we both got candied yams and baked Mac and cheese. My partner is from Mississippi and said this was the best candied yams he has ever had. I would like to call myself a Mac and cheese connoisseur and I just couldn’t get enough! The chicken was juicy and delicious, which paired nicely with the sweet, fluffy yet crunch Belgium waffles. We will definitely come back for more !
Very busy place with an extensive menu. You'd definitely want to return to try a little bit of everything. The macaroni and cheese was delicious. We had a little bit of a wait because we ordered a lot of food, and even though we ordered takeout with most of it being fried items, it maintained its crunch when we got home. Everything was well seasoned, and the portions were great. 10/10 recommend.
First time ordering and pleasantly surprised by how good the breakfast is! Everything was delicious and I have not stopped thinking about the grits..so yummy. I’ll def be back :)
I have ordered from Southern by MidAtlantic about 8 times in the last two months! They prepare orders with care, the food is fresh with that homemade taste and their chicken wings are absolutely delicious. I didn’t do a rating for the atmosphere because I’ve never been inside. I bet it’s just as great! 10/10
Food was amazing and fresh! I got it delivered and live at least 30 mins away. They wrap everything up to make sure it stays warm and no spillage. Best delivery packaging I’ve had. Their half and half was one of the best I’ve had!
Am from UK and was visiting family. We ordered cod with fries to take out. Busy time but food well worth waiting for. The fish coating was delicious. Wish I could find something on this side of the Atlantic which tasted as good.
Everything I ordered was good. I ordered the ribs with cabbage and sweet potatoes. We also ordered the turkey wing and fried chicken wings. The food was still hot when it was delivered and it was packaged with care. If I could give more then 5 stars I would.

This place have really good food. I've tried plenty of dishes from there and have not been disappointed. The smothered pork chops, seafood, and breakfast is the best to me.
I have ordered from Mid Atlantic three times. I live nearby and always said I was going to order, so one night I did. I ordered the Mid Atlantic Sampler with two sides, and added a pork chop and a pineapple lemonade. I was blown away! Food was hot and flavorful, very generous quality. I fell in love with the lemonade. The next time i ordered two fried porkchops, kale, fried green tomatoes, with potato salad , two smothered porkchops with greens and kale and the carrot cake. I am really impressed with the consistency of the orders, i LOVE the kale!! Everything is good and fresh and especially packaged with care. When company comes over, this is my number one go to place to order! Thank you so much for all of the great meals. Oh, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity that you receive.
I have yet to eat at Mid-Atlantic Seafood in person, but I discovered them during the pandemic as a fantastic place to order out from! I've ordered from them numerous times now--ranging from catfish and hush puppies to mac and cheese and greens to a green smoothie to chocolate-frosted yellow cake (simply divine), banana pudding, and peach cobbler. It is comfort food at its finest! Highly recommend.
Ordered delivery from here countless times and the food never disappoints. The seafood is always cooked to perfection and their sides and desserts are amazing!

This food reminded me of a down south home cooked meal. The sides were amazing, from the kale to the cole slaw and potato salad.
The fried catfish and shrimp were well seasoned and made you want to come back for more.
I cant wait to order from here again.
