Have visited 'Cracker Barrel Old County Store' a few times over the years. Good food and atmosphere. Always impressed with their gift shop items. Pleasurable experience every time.
We are on the road from Michigan and stopped for some dinner. Really nice workers here and good food. Shout out to Lloyd and Jada.
Food is normally good. Really depends on who's cooking. Service is ok, seems newer waitresses, not proactive, forget things, food sometimes served cold due to sitting too long. Country store is BEYOND adorable, so many beautiful, cool, things to look at and buy. Parking can very tight and busy during busy times. Additional parking in the back. My experiences have been ok, could have been great, our waitress seemed knew, last two times in...we got same waitress. Managers, if there is a delay in receiving food order, your additional biscuits basket should be FREE. If food is served Luke warm, additional biscuit basket should be FREE. It's just a common courtesy. We didn't make an issue out of it, we simply paid for it, next go around I will ENSURE we don't get same waitress. Very sweet girl, just not fast or proactive in here methodology.
Clean store and excellent customer service. Food came out quick and hot. Chicken and dumplings were good, but a few dumplings were too thick and not cooked through. Fried apples were delicious. New squash casserole tasted burnt, and we sent it back. Green beans were great. Chef salad was amazing- fresh! Ranch dressing tasted homemade. Biscuits and cornbread were fresh baked.
Always a consistent chain. Good service. Delicious food. I recommend the grilled catfish. It was delicious! I also love shopping in the country store… there’s always something great to buy. Definitely recommend.
This location seemed a bit under staffed but the refills came in a timely manner. The food came out hot and tasted very good. I had the chicken pot pie and it was smaller than I usually see but the crispy crust on top with a creamy filling was excellent. The gift shop looked a bit smaller than I usually see but nice variety. We were on a road trip so didn't stay long but it was a nice stop. It's not as well marked on interstate as most but we managed to spot it in a heavily wooded area.
It was busy this morning, but I understand because Mother's Day ❤️ ... Nice atmosphere, tasty food, excellent service and fast! ... Thanks, I recommend it to everyone 🥰
We take advantage of Cracker Barrel's hospitality and park our rv there overnight when we travel. We have had the chance to try several outlets but this is the best Cracker Barrel we've been at. The staff is very friendly, the food and the service is great. A special mention to our waiter Scott who is a great people person, welcoming and extremely friendly. He was kind enough to offer us a coffee to go so we could drink it in our rv.
Arrived about 30 minutes prior to closing and with seat of no issue. Friendly staff, good food. Only strange thing was that they started leaf blowing the floor before everything closed out and customers are still there.
The other weird thing is that the stores actually reversed with the store on the left and the eating establishment on the right. They said this is because store number 44
Always a fun place to visit with good things to see and fresh food to eat. Pity COVID has them short staffed; be ready to wait and be flexible on ordering. Options may be limited. Also, if you don't like lukewarm food temp, let your server know beforehand. Ours were good tasting but could have been hotter. Still, look forward to returning soon.
