It was my first time trying Colombian food and they did not disappoint! The arepas were to die for and the churrasco was unbelievable! If I am ever in town I will for sure make this a mandatory stop!
I loved it. The food was great, the server was great. Plus she is from Cartagena. I will come back.
What a delicious meal! Substantial serving and nicely flavored. The beans were some of the best I’ve eaten stateside. This is a great place to get a meal like your momma would prepare… chicken, rice, beans, yucca, salad… and if you desire, tres leche for dessert.
Best restaurant in Tallahassee hands down!!! The food is DELICIOUS!!! 10/10 recommend the Godzilla and the margaritas are a bargain!! Their food has so much flavor and you can tell the chef is cooking with their heart. Their staff is also so sweet and attentive. It’s a laid back environment and my husband and I are glad we finally found a great little restaurant in Tallahassee!!
UPDATE: Amiga wanted to have a belated birthday dinner for BB and Babushka knew she wanted to go here! A family restaurant with flair and fantastic food, I introduced her to authentic Colombian Cuisine. Todo was as delicious as it looked. We will both return again. And again.
Hometown dishes with uptown flair. True Hispanic taste with a touch of top Chef presentation. Enjoyed it all.
We passed this little place on our way home to Florida. I guess it's a family run restaurant. The staff were very, very friendly and they answered all our questions about the food. Yes, we have some food allergies to consider. Any, the food was excellent and so was the service we received. BTW, I strongly recommend their coffee.
We've eaten here many times, and ordered take-out a fair amount as well. But we just ate lunch here for the first time, and that was a great deal. For just $8 each meal, my husband and I both ordered our fave pollo encebollado, with rice, beans, salad and one more side, which we both got tostones. We also got a queso arepa to share as well. One of our favorite local places!
Me and my son went here for the first time on December 27 2022. From the time we opened the door till the time we left the customer service was beyond excellent. The food was excellent and the prices were very very reasonable for the amount of food that they serve. Its a must try and it's in a cozy spot to take a date or just to get away and relax and enjoy some excellent food and customer service.
Ive passed this location all the time but It was my 1st time visiting. It was great. Delicious, authentic Colombian food at reasonable prices. The service was great. I got to practice my Spanish as the waitress had limited English skills. They have a great lunch special too. The food came out quickly, was fresh & delicious.
Update: I continue to enjoy El Rincon when I’m in the mood for a casual Latin cuisine option.
I got the fried chicken dish with the lunch deals, and my friends got the godzilla burrito.
Both were exceptional. Nice place for columbian food.
This place offered a mix experience. Some foods where great some foods where just decent. Some of the plates where loaded with food and some barley offered much on the plate at all. We love the super perro hotdog, grilled chicken, and hamburger. Funny and weird things to eat but delicious nonetheless. This is a small place but the atmosphere is well done. My wife said the bathrooms where very well taken care of. We tried a couple of sides and appetizers and for the most part enjoyed the flavor but was not blown away by any means. The order of fried Yucu had only 4-5 pieces and came with nothing on top. Next time we are going to try a dinner because we where told those are bigger and have good flavor. For what we got though, we can only say we enjoyed the fun style foods and atmosphere.
The food was good and the serving for lunch was enormous. Actually took home half the plate.
Delicious food!!! with excellent service!!1 the atmosphere is very good, they have good music in the background and good movies are always showing on their televisions.
My husband and I both got gyros. I got mine with fries and he got his with plantains. We both enjoyed our food. While we went in the afternoon on a weekend, they were busy, both inside and with take out orders, so the service could have been better. They were out of silverware so we had to use plastic utensils. Additionally, we were not brought napkins. We asked for napkins and our server still forgot to bring them so my husband went inside to get them (we ate outside). Despite the off day on service, the food was good so we will try them again.
