Excellent steak and eggs. I've had to send food back which they got perfect the second go around. Great menu and specials. If you can't find what you want for breakfast here, you never will. One negative, it is pricey. The atmosphere of the Southwood location is best.

I love very close to this location, so it's been very convenient to dine here. That being said, the food has always been good, the staff amicable, and the atmosphere very pleasant :) I recommend coming here for brunch with friends any day

The food is always amazing. The service overall has been great with the exception of the service we received yesterday afternoon. I came in with my extended family. There were six of us total, we got sat outside which was fine. It took our server 10 minutes to come out and greet us once we were sat. We understood that it being Labor Day, there would be some delay. We were able to place our drink orders and eventually our food orders. The server then brought out everyone's food in a timely manner minus my own. She said the kitchen was just finishing mine up. We waited 30+ minutes and no update/refills. Eventually she came out with my Texas Tacos after the rest of my party had finished eating. I told her she could just go ahead and package it up since we had an appointment we needed to get to, but we would also be needing another box for my boyfriends food. She proceeded to take another ten minutes packaging up the food. She then forgot to bring out the box that we asked for. This whole time she was walking back to our table at a leisurely pace. I didn't quite catch her name since she wasn't attentive at all to our table. She had dark hair in a ponytail and had thick lashes. My party and I were in a time crunch so I did not feel like talking to management. However I found the behavior to be unprofessional. She only offered a small and quiet "sorry" when I asked her to pack up my food to go. We were really appalled because every other server we've had has been amazing.
We love thy is place for breakfast and lunch. Especially this location since we can walk to it. There are plenty of parking apots if you choose tondrive. Everyone is nice and food tastes great. They have a good menu with lots of options, especially breakfast!
Solid choice for brakfast/brunch/lunch. Good food, large portions, keeping America fat! Service is fast and friendly with nice outdoor seating area.
My second review for Canopy Road. I still recommend the cinnamon roll, it's pillowy, fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth wonderfulness is unforgettable. It's the first thing I tried on my first ever visit and it's still my top fave. If you are more health conscious save this for the "cheat day" or try the Bee Bee skillet (healthy and filling). I'll have to leave a future review for the country fried steak with extra gravy.... it's to live for.
I had an outstanding breakfast there this morning. I highly recommend that you try the chicken fried steak. The CFS was really good, but that sausage gravy was right on point!
Had a craving for comfort food and decided to order to go. I got the country fried steak. It came with sausage gravy and I swapped out the toast for a pumpkin pancake 🥞 😋 The food was hot and delicious! 🤤 Definitely check them out. Beware they are pretty busy on Sundays.
P.S - I ate the pancakes as is, no additional syrup. It was sooo good!
I had the Fat Elvis today, which are pancakes with bacon and banana slices cooked inside, topped with melted peanut butter chips. They were amazing! The coffee is always good and it's so pleasant to sit outside and watch the world go by. The service is also topnotch!
Reviewed this place before but i am writing again to say how awesome their winter menu is. I tried the short rib benedict with the chipotle hollandaise and i highly recommend it!
I visited Canopy in Southwood for the first time today to grab a quick lunch and ended up with the best service I've ever received anywhere! April was my server and she literally anticipated every need that I had before I even said anything. AND she ran outside and flagged me down when I forgot my leftovers! 10/10 service!!!! And the food was great.
My sisters and I have frequented this establishment on several occasions but I have not felt the need to review until this time. We had a FANTASTIC server named Allie (hopefully that is how she spells it) that made the hiccups that we had bearable. The concerns were addressed promptly and with a positive response. All making the experience enjoyable and even entertaining. We will be returning again.
The food is good literally every time. I love coming here, it's a bit of a Sunday tradition for my family. Although they don't social distance which I don't like, their staff wears their masks properly and they're always nice.
Canopy Road Cafe is my go to for breakfast and lunch! If you haven’t experienced Canopy please do! Great service. Great food. You will feel at home here!!!
