Everything about Anise is wonderful. The ambiance is very stylish and chic, and the staff was kind and welcoming.
The cocktails were a bit pricey, $9-14 but they were all very strong. I ordered the Leblon James and I Don’t Want No Shrub. The amounts of cachaca and tequila were very generous. My friends ordered the Hibiscus Margarita and it was a bit too sweet.
I ordered the shrimp sticky bun and it was very flavorful. The portion size was fair for the $4.50 price. I also ordered the curried coconut crispy wings and they were TO DIE FOR. If you like curry you’d love these. The coconut flavor is present, but very subliminal compared to the curry. The wings themselves and crispy as advertised. Highly recommend.
This is definitely one of downtown Tampa's gems. Walking up to the building is easy to see with large windows & outside seating, walking through the door the atmosphere to a 1920's New York upscale bar. Black, leather, & golden details in art & decor flood over every inch. I ate at the bar, with very little wait. Every person who served me was well informed, friendly, & fun. This was my first time coming here, & it certainly will not be my last. If you want something a little more refined, great cocktails, and not ridiculously over-priced, this should be your first stop.
The Brunch Burlesque Brunch was fun. Not strip tease but entertaining burlesque. Got complimentary champagne....the food was very tasty. Fried chicken wings on waffles & a lobster b.l.t.
Visited Downtown Tampa specifically for this place! The restaurant is nice, dimly lit and trendy! The service was wonderful! The sticky buns are out of this world! 100% hands down recommend trying a few of the variety they have to offer- if not one of each!
We also tried the duck confit tacos and braised pork belly bowl-both great but not as tasty as the sticky buns!
The night my husband and I visited there was a large group of older women being so loud it was impossible to enjoy our meal! The high ceilings helped carry their loud voices throughout. I understand a fun mom night out, on a Tuesday but that is the only reason it wasn’t perfect!
We will definitely be back- and sit outside! Ha! Pic of duck tacos below. Apparently, the sticky buns were eaten so quickly, there was no time for a picture.
One of my favorite places to eat. Ambiance is awesome. View is great of the river and the park. Staff is always great and knowledgeable. Really hip and cool!
Top notch cocktails, superb service, and gastro inspired dishes.
In my top 5 fav places in Tampa.
For me, that is one heck of a statment.
Fantastic food! Decor is nice, service is wonderful and after the chef ran out of an ingredient we received specially-made tacos. Amazing dining at a very reasonable price.
Phenomenal bar and bistro with the world's best tots cooked in Truffle Oil. Great craft cocktails and service.
The confited duck taco is a must. Nice atmosphere, great service and immaculate bathroom.
Excellent food (not the typical food that you find in other places) at reasonable prices. I will be coming here until I've tried every item in the menu
Went for brunch. Food was really good. Great service. Very cool atmosphere. Definitely want to go back.
Amazing place! One of the best food thrills I’ve ever had in Tampa! Reasonable prices as well!
Fantastic place for food and drinks. The fusion cuisine is on point, awesome blend of Asian and Western flavors.
I ordered the Greek burger for lunch - good burger with a unique twist. Swanky decor inside the restaurant. Outdoor seating is also available.
An amazing location downtown, very convenient to the Straz Center. The food was awesome in the atmosphere was incredible.
I visited Anish couple of times. This is good place to enjoy with friends and one of the few Bars in downtown which opens till late.
I like their local beers and cocktails very much. They have the place outside as well. They don’t have their own parking but lots of places nearby to park.
Lobster ceviche and truffle tots are amazing appetizers. And the bartender Carlos is awesome along with their whiskey selection.
My boyfriend and I shared the Pupu Platter as a light dinner with drinks. Perfect! Happy Hour from 4-7 daily, a selection of gorgeous and delicious craft cocktails for $7!
Great cocktails here! If you want to have large portions this is not the place for you. The food is delightful but the cocktails are phenomenal.
