Awesome place to eat. The food is excellent. Just like mom use to make. The staff is friendly and just an all around happy atmosphere. They are really great at taking care of a crowd. When we were there Sunday the place was jammed packed but all was good. Highly recommend the 8 oz sirloin with eggs. Making me hungry now just thinking about it. Love moms.

Best place in town for fast delicious meal and great service. Have been coming here just about every Sunday and always a pleasure that doesnt take all your money to enjoy your meal whether is breakfast or lunch

Driving past and looking for a restaurant that is not a chain we came upon Mom's Place and the parking lot was full! Stopped by and what a treat - loved the diner ambiance and even though it was full our food came out quickly, hot and delicious with a waitress who was great:) A very nice "find" for a restaurant and we definitely will be back.
I loved this little cozy, down home family feeling type of restaurant. The food and the service was great. They never let your cup of coffee stay empty.
The BEST food in Tampa. The spinach pie is better than any I've had in Tarpon Springs. If you like liver and onions, they do them perfectly every time. It's always crowded but the service is swift and the wait staff is wonderful. I've never been disappointed here.

Exceeded Expectations!. Mom's Place looks like a regular mom and pop diner. However the food, which is what counts, is phenomenal. The food was out fast, and tasted great. The home fries were a great side dish. The Service was wonderful. The servers were all friendly, and conversational. There was a waitress walking around with decaf and regular coffee refilling coffees left and right, there wasn't a chance for a cup to go dry. Overall great staff, and extraordinary food. The prices were very cheap compared to the food quality. Only about $10 for your entire meal. Thanks!
Great Diner!. After driving past Mom’s Place for the last 4 years I couldn’t take it anymore. I was meeting 2 friends for Saturday breakfast and it was my turn to pick the location, and Mom’s Place it was. My friends were excited, they had both been there before and loved the place. It is small and just what a diner should be, full of pictures and years of memorabilia. My friends ordered so much food I was shocked, they said they didn’t care if they didn’t finish it all, they wanted to taste a little bit of everything they love. (One recently moved out of state so was back visiting and NEEDED it). I ordered the eggs and biscuits and gravy and it was so yummy and CHEAP!!!! I can see why they have been in business for so many years. If you have a group, be prepared to wait though!

Great breakfast. This is what a diner breakfast should be: perfectly cooked eggs, thick grits, great server, and simple, simple, simple. This is not the place you go to impress anyone. This is the place you can sit back and enjoy the wonderful, experienced servers who never let your cup of coffee become emply and make suggestions when you aren't sure what you want. I've been looking for a good down-to-earth eatery since arriving in Tampa 6 months ago, and now I have found it. Can't wait to go back next weekend

If there was a place that should be named Mom’s Place then Mom’s Place qualifies. I wondered if my mom was in that kitchen making breakfast. If you are looking for home cooking that taste like your mother’s southern breakfast then this is your place. The steak and eggs were delicious and the Oreo pancakes were per dessert. We also had the bacon egg and cheese omelette with hashbrowns. These portions are huge and service is amazing.
Grabbed a late breakfast before heading to the airport for our flight home. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Very good, reasonably priced food - the hotcakes were delicious!

My niece had a club sandwich, my wife had Nutella French toast and I had eggs with biscuits and gravy. Everyone left full and happy. The price was reasonable and our server was excellent. Perfect diner experience.
Classic no frills diner with an amazing breakfast selection! I had eggs, hashbrowns, sausage links and pancakes. Pancakes were nice & fluffy and tasted delicious! The service was spot on (I was sat immediately) and my waitress was very kind. Can’t wait to come back with my family!
First time here. Staff was very warm and welcoming. Loved the atmosphere. Food was amazing! Got some pan fried beef liver topped with gravy and onions. A side of hash browns, sunny side eggs, and the MOST soft biscuit I've ever had in my life. Was amazing and filling!
Another early start, I came to Mom's at about 6:15 am and there were a couple of folks there already. It was well past the beginning of the 21st century (about 2 decades) before they finally started taking credit cards, use to be cash only, which can be infuriating when no one tells you.
Consumer friendly prices, foods pretty good and the service is quick, efficient and friendly. Soon after I arrived a large table of regulars congregated, talked, ate and laughed to begin their day.
Good place to stop when your on the run. They serve breakfast and lunch only. Hours seem to be 6am to 3pm. Tradional mom and pop diner. Apparently mom outlasted pop.

This is a small, 50's diner feel. The food was great and huge portions. The biscuits and gravy were definitely a winner! My son always asks for his bacon very well done and crispy and they got it perfect! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only issue I have is that they do not accept American Express. That's typically the only card I pay with.
It was very busy when we went. Apparently there was a spring training game happening later. I'm not into baseball, but for those who are, I hear a lot of the pro players visit this place!
I had the French Toast stuffed with cannoli cream and chocolate chips...it was heaven! Paired with hot coffee, it's a great breakfast option.
This place is awesome. They have great breakfast. The eggs Benedict are yummy. The staff is friendly and they make sure you always have what you need. The food is made fresh to order no matter what you order. If you are looking for some good home cooking then stop by and grab a bite. You won’t be disappointed

The service was great! Coffee was always kept topped off. The food was okay. Hubby said his country fried streak was good. My bacon was SUPER salty. The biscuits and "sausage" gravy weren't anything to write home about. The eggs, on the other hand, were perfect. The restroom was very clean.
Oh my gosh this is a great place. 💖 💖 💖 The food is delicious and the service is great. Prices? Extremely reasonable and affordable. I ordered the steak and eggs couldn't finish it all. My husband ordered a burger... It was absolutely delicious. See photos. It does get packed and although there is lots of parking it is full. The wait however was only 7 minutes. The parking lot unfortunately does have several potholes so be careful with the car and walking. Also restaurant accepts CASH ONLY. There is a small teller machine next to entrance. Other than the above it is a great place to eat, breakfast or lunch!
This place is delicious. The chicken gyro and Greek salad were tasty. The Philly Cheesesteak was rich and meaty. The fries were hot and crispy. The pancakes were buttery and silky smooth. The Boston Cream Pie was creamy and chocolatey. They accept only cash for payment, so be ready for that.
