A really nice place to get a full meal in relative peace and quiet in Tampa Airport's F Terminal. If you are a Priority Club (Lounge) member you get $28 off your tab. Jennifer did a real nice job over a busy Thanksgiving flying time. THANKS!

Good portion size but food was a little too greasy and taste was ok. I prefer the breakfast menu way more than the lunch menu but they do have some decent options for lunch too. It is a little over priced but that's expected from a restaurant inside the airport. If you have a priority pass then it's definitely worth it. The cappuccino was too bitter for my taste. Also they have no decaf options for coffee or tea. The seafood they serve is also not fresh but frozen. __________ Updated on August 24, 2022 They have added decaf coffee to their drinks selection and have also improved the lunch menu. They have added calamari and shrimp cocktail which was not the best but decent. We ordered the salmon and this time it tasted fresh! That's an improvement. The grilled cheese sandwich was very delicious as well. They also had more dessert options this time. The mud pie was very good. I just hope they served the breakfast menu all day because I really love their French toast and oatmeal.

A nice place for airport meals. All the necessities taken care of, reasonable prices and decent good. Service was good and attentive, and the inclusion of yucca home fries was a nice surprise

You can't beat the relaxed pace, but efficient service. The team makes you feel like you're not in a airport. What's even better is the food is not overly salted (salt and pepper are available) and the food definitely tastes fresh cooked. Leave a few extra minutes to allow for this. I'm not saying this is going to be the best meal of your life, I'm saying for an airport life this is a huge step up. Real china, nice silverware, real glassware, and the staff know what they're doing. It's definitely worth a stop. Nice job The Cafe in F terminal.

This is a comfortable place to sit and eat or enjoy a drink while waiting for a flight notwithstanding the high prices. (For us, our priority pass allowance of $28 per person relieved that particular burden, however.) My salmon tartine was actually exceptional and the Greek yogurt was tasty, though the fruit wasn’t exactly fresh or well selected. Unfortunately, our server was one of the most ungracious servers we’ve experienced in a long time, so much so that we came to feel that she might harbor anti-Asian feelings. It is for this reason that the restaurant loses one star. Hopefully you won’t have to deal with this.

With its very convenient location this cafe serves travelers inside Tampa International Airport. It is a great place to spend time while waiting to board your plane. Any waiting time to be served is worth it. Their creamy latte is so far one of the best coffees I have ever tried when traveling. The salad was good, but nothing compares to the delicious latte. They also had NBA games on tv which made my stay completely amazing. Surprised me that they didn't have a lid for my disposable cup, something that can't be missed specially where they are located. Overall an excellent experience.

Good food but slow, poor service. The server was rude but appeared they were understaffed.

Food is the bomb.com! Not salty and not over cooked! I wanted to try the shrimp and grits but because the atmosphere seemed a little “dingy” I was nervous the bowl of my grits would be dirty( just me being paranoid!) but overall food is amazing, the servers are very bland but attentive (especially the Caucasian with dark brunette hair who brought her food from the kitchen) and it’s a relaxed atmosphere. It took us 30min to get through security but once through we were able to seat ourselves almost immediately. Would recommend if you have time to spare and you’re a relaxed person. Would NOT recommend if you’re “pinky’s up” and think your s*** don’t stink like everyone else’s! Cheers!

I’ve been here a few times, but the food tonight has been quite good. In fact, better than some of the fancier restaurants I’ve been to with consistently high ratings. Conversely, the service was quite slow. Of the 2 hours we spent here, at least 30 minutes of it were spent either waiting for someone to get to us or waiting for the check. It wasn’t exactly busy either, but I don’t blame them either when it’s a priority pass restaurant. 4.5/5 excluding service and round to 4/5 with service.

Okay, so this is not Mise en Place, the full fine dining reasturant in Tampa. However, it is a nice change of pace in an otherwise defaulting to the norm as the other establishments scattered throughout the airport. So what was great? The filet sandwich was great. Seared perfectly with plenty of savory flavor and a perfect medium rare temperature. Beautiful pink center and juicy not dry. I didn't care for the curry chicken salad. The mango seemed to be a reach for a profile already drowned out by the loud flavor of the curry. What I will say is you get a small slice of the Mise en Place that's in Tampa at the airport and it is quaint and quiet and a wonderful little "setup" in the airport. Also, if all the staff are like the extremely wonderful Christine P at the bar and Chef Chris, in the kitchen, then Mise en Place should be so lucky. Mise en Place gets 5 stars for great service and a perfectly cooked filet minion sandwich. -The Tuarian Chef
