Nice Colombian Restaurant with a great atmosphere and very helpful staff members great variety of Colombian food...Excellent Karaoke 🎤 😀 😄
The place itself is unassuming, but the food we got was excellent. Everyone's dishes that they chose were perfect. Would definitely eat here again (and again).
Being from Colombia, this was a great taste of home. The food portions are very large. You will not leave hungry from eating here. Better yet, the staff was very accommodation. My wife is a vegan and they made her a custom vegan dinner at no extra cost! That is service for you!

The food was absolutely fantastic including their coffee it was superb. The atmosphere inside as very colorful and catchy to the eye it was a very pleasant experience sitting down inside the music had me tapping my foot the whole time. Very affordable pricing to huge plate of food for like 20 bucks and everything was cooked to Perfection, honestly I would have paid probably $15 to $20 a meal and still been happy with what I spent the flavors are just magnificent they cooked these onions to throw on the steak and they were caramelized and still crunchy but perfectly flavored. They give you an option for appetizers but they also bring out fried plantains on the house to get you started with some kind of delicious sauce for dipping. I spoke with the owner he was extremely friendly we talked over some of the food and how it was cooked very good interaction I give this place an A plus.
The food was Authentic Latin Food and it was AMAZING! The food and drinks were seasoned well! Since we couldn't order everything on the menu, we will definetly be going back!
The service was great! The food was good, but massing the Colombian flavor. Food is decently priced as are the drinks.
The Overall experience was nice!
Monserrate is a quaint little place with a lot going for it. When you first walk in, the restaurant interior is pretty small yet well decorated. From the soccer balls hanging above the bar to the head-sized dent in the one window, there is plenty to see. Don't expect super comfortable seating, as it is a bit cramped. We had chicken and steak entrées which were fine, but I think this establishment probably is better known for their seafood. I saw some amazing plates come out. Staff was friendly.
It was good. Server was nice. The pork for Mofongo was good, the smashed plantains were cold.
The chicken was delicious.
Excellent food and service. May wait abit for the food. When it comes out it is cooked fresh and delicious.😋
If you're looking for fancy dine in, this is not your place. But for me, its perfect. Little family "dive" with home cooking. Columbian - Latin dishes. Large portions and tasty. Fresh juice drinks in chilled mug, delightful. The service was exceptional. Many Latin people dining when we were there so I always use that as a measuring stick. They obviously know whats good and authentic. Empanadas are great and a whopping $1.95 each. A bargain. We had as appetizer.
I happened upon this place by accident today. Lucky for me, it was another great find. A nice little restaurant with various dishes from Columbia. The service was good the food was great and I am sure that I will be back again.
In my stay in Tampa I was looking for a good latin cousin, luckily I found this place. Its a small family owned restaurant not a fancy place but the food is delicious and the server Paola was very friendly I recomend this place to anyone who likes Colombian food and definitely will be coming back in my next visit to Tampa.
